...you had all the time, money, support, friends and materials you need? What would you do to impact this world for the better (there is to be no gender or racial demolitions here - thank you). I'm a single mom of three. My ex's grandma pass away lastnight. The ex hasn't paid any support for the last five months and none of my kids have anything black or dressy to wear. His side of the family would be upset if we didn't show or if we didn't dress up. Would it be bad if we show up in causal clothes? Plus, the ex wouldn't fork out any money either.

What prevents anyone from saying they are gay in order to get the same protections as gays?

How would you prove a person was gay or not?

And what would be the point of anti gay discrimination laws if everyone said they were gay?

I know this question has probably been asked before, but I wanted fresh opinions. Why does it make more sense that a being called "God" did it? God has never been seen, or heard, and try as we might we cannot find even the slightest bit of evidence for him/her."
Please, I am not trying to have a go, but I just do not understand. Why would you believe something that to me is so obviously made up?

I have proposed to my family, instead of the adults exchanging gifts, we buy mcdonalds gift certificates(for the amount we set) and hand them out to the homeless downtown under the bridge.I just can't justfiy exchanging gifts with people who have enough already.

This question highlights the way in which the, supposed, word of God, was bound together with such disorder.
the last two verses of Chronicles read as follows; 22) "Now in the year of Cyrus, King of Persia, that the word of the Lord, spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah, might be accomplished, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus, King of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout his Kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying 23) Thus saith Cyrus, King of Persia, all the Kingdoms of the earth hath the LordGod of Heaven given me: and he hath charged meto build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up."
Go up where? This abrupt end/break shows, as I have already said, the disoder and ignorance of the text, in which the bible was mashed together, as you can see by the first three verses of Ezra; 1:1-3;.....................................................

How big of a role does it play in your daily prayer life... just sitting and listening.... to God.... to your Guardian Angel?

I see, within myself, constant asking God for stuff, but then when I get extra time, I don't just sit and bask in his Glory, like the Psalm says, "Be Still, and know."

Also, medical professionals point out that meditation is good for your health. Very few times do we realize just how shallowly we breathe (unless you smoke, then you get a deep breath whenever you're smoking) or just how "on edge" we are because of our daily routine.

Okay, why the label of black and white? I once heard an interview with a female sportscaster (Jayne Kennedy, I believe) who classified herself as a 'caramel cream' and another black female as 'dark chocolate'. I knew a mixed race gentleman who referred to himself as 'cream in coffee'. As a caucasian female, I am deathly pale with light brown hair, but my hub is olive complected with dark hair and dark eyes. I have met people classified as 'black' who are fairer than he is, so what determines 'black or white'? I much prefer the survey form question that asks: Asian, Indo-european, Mediterranean, African and Semetic as a choice of ethnicities rather than a color. Your thoughts please?
