Every religion is a myth due to the definition of the word.

A traditional, typically ancient story dealing with supernatural beings, ancestors, or heroes that serves as a fundamental type in the world view of a people, as by explaining aspects of the natural world or delineating the psychology, customs, or ideals of society: the myth of Eros and Psyche; a creation myth.

technology won't in any respect disprove the existence of a God, nor will it ever instruct that God did no longer create each little thing. A Christian ought to have self assurance that evolution, as an occasion, is thoroughly real and that's the tactic that God used to create existence. those 2 ideals are no longer at the same time unique. Our photograph voltaic gadget and something of the heavens have been formed from interstellar hydrogen, helium, and heavier aspects produced in novas and supernovas. A Christian ought to certainly have self assurance that replaced into God's approach of creation. some Christians have self assurance that the Earth is merely 4,000 to 5,000 years previous. The geological info needless to say proves that the Earth is 4 a million/2 to 5 billion years previous. yet all that the believer needs to do to justify their perception is say that God "planted" that geological info to "try our faith" or that, by some ability, the info is incorrect. A in basic terms scientific person believes that God replaced into no longer had to the creation of the universe. A in basic terms committed Christian believes that each little thing that's mentioned interior the Bible is incredibly real and the scientific info won't in any respect weaken their faith. maximum individuals greater healthful someplace in between those 2 extremes.

There is the myth that has been built up around Christianity just as any myth has a kernel of truth in it. Christianity came after thousands of years of belief in a diety of some form. The form my faith (my ability to believe in that which is not seen) takes as worship with others may be different from other people's choices of worship, but, I myself, as a follower and student of Jesus Christ must honor the right of others to hold differing religious beliefs - just as HE did. Jesus said, THE FATHER AND I ARE ONE. He did NOT espouse what later came to be called Christianity AS A RELIGION. Jesus teaches us how to live and how to live in and with God expressing thorough us in all our earthly activities. So that has no religious boundaries. And that scares alot of people. Jesus is OUT OF BOUNDS, unbound, free - and so are we, when we believe.
In the big picture, with the use of words, all is myth. Look up the definition of myth. It is not just make-believe. Although that is an interesting phrase make-believe. Make it and believe it. And everything in God's creation is really make-believe in that God makes it and believes it so and so are we given that same free will to do so.
I just don't worship Zeus or Ra, the name of my God is God, the ONE POWER AND PRESENCE AT WORK IN MY LIFE AND THE UNIVERSE< OMNIPOTENT< OMNISCIENT Thanks for a good question!

Here's a few reasons.... i would go on and on with the proof but it takes up too much time

Isaiah 46:9
Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.

Isaiah 45:22
"Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

Isaiah 45:18
For this is what the LORD says— he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited— he says: "I am the LORD, and there is no other.

Isaiah 45:14
This is what the LORD says: "The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush, and those tall Sabeans— they will come over to you and will be yours; they will trudge behind you, coming over to you in chains. They will bow down before you and plead with you, saying, 'Surely God is with you, and there is no other; there is no other god.' "

Isaiah 45:5
I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me,

Isaiah 44:8
Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one."

I will try to answer this but it will be hard because I don't consider myself a christian
umm How do Christians justify their belief over all others?
They try but they end up looking foolish and uninformed.
That's all I can say.

By "Myth" I understand a believe that nobody believe in anymore. If just one believes this to be true, then it's not a myth for that individual.
I chose to believe in Jesus, son of God, because he revealed himself to me in a tender way.

In none of the myths is the sacrifice for ANYONE(i.e. murders or child abusers or regular folk). Unlike with Christ.

listed in the 10 commandments is says.... thou shalt have no other God's before me.... cut and dry... and if you haven't figured it out yet, religion is a spiritual choice and once you choose to believe a certain belief ( whichever you choose ) then all other "God's" are no long relevant to you. there is no proof in the pudding so, all you have is your faith...

Or you'll get meaningless quotes from the bible.
