I personally feel that when a group gets too big the community feeling is lost. I would not want to be part of a megachurch where the pastor is so busy with his speaking schedule, travelling and writing that he doesn't know my name or care if I have a problem or need some advice. Also the amount of money involved seems to make strange things happen. Jesus seems to get lost in among all the programmes...and people tend to fall between the cracks.

I bet if you counted up all of the real "Mega" Churches today, you have about 400 real ones. Which would coincide with the Prophets of Baal that need to be taken out of the picture.
If Hillary becomes pres. (Jezabel) and William becomes Head of the U.N. They would rule the world, and we may see the return of Elijah.
Just wait and See.

Mega Churches are only valuable in creating a sense of power. They are the same as going to major sporting event in a large stadium and feeling the sense of power and awe that comes from several thousand people chanting a team song or yelling at a referee.
Most of the people that attend these churches attribute that feeling to God or the Holy Spirit, but in reality it is just a mob mentality.

I would much rather see 15 or 20 large area churches( 300 or 400 members) where everyone knows everyone else...the MEGA CHURCH is more of a nonperson too big to connect thing....the idea of thousands of people in one building is just TOO much for me to even go inside .....
bigger is never better...it is like a 500 lb apple....

I am not living in a society of the "mega Church" ..Most churches are small, and the pastors have to hold a second job to support their family.

Nope, no conflict, I would not want a society without them.
Religion is not of God.
The Church is not some building.
The true Tabernacle Christ pitches in us.
Heb 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
Heb 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

The more believers congregated in one place and in one accord......the better.
Obviously, any organization that large has it's problems. Church or not, when something is run by sinful people.....chances are, problems will ultimately creep in from time to time.
This is why we need to stay focused on Christ alone in our churches.

The more people the more they can do for Christ as long as HE and HIS will are the focus. I prefer to know every ones name, though.
