doesn't that mean you all belong to Me?
meaning i own you and thus everything you own so if i steal it, it's already mine, and if charged, those who i own would have a right to take appropriate action, correct?
or are rebelling against God?

Someone was going to cut its head off and get it ready to cook, and I just could not look.
What does that mean, good or bad, I have never dreamt about a fish before. My friend said it means something fishy is going on,
but she can't read dreams, and talks rubbish.

I was raised in non denominational churches.
i been to methodist churches.
i went to a apostolic church last night.
It seemed the same, But everyone was dressed up.
and no make up.
and i was in jeans, and had make up, and stuff.
Just like, I am so sooo confused, i dont know what is the TRUE religion.
like, i want to go to heaven more than anything.
i want to live truly and no truly i live for jesus christ and God RIGHT.
but i dont know what is the truth, i want to know the difference between these religions, and which one is the true way.
I'm so confused, My parents, cut down other religions and say they dont believe in this and that.
but im so confused :[ i dont know what to believe anymore.
everyone has me so twisted
please help me please

Every time I see this tiny hunched over elderly woman doing work a young person should be doing my heart breaks. I tried to figure out if she was working still because she had to or if she did it to stay active? I found out the worst...it was because she had to. Her daughter works in the video dept and had brain surgery, they are stacked with medical bills so the whole family works to pay it off. My heart broke when I found that out. Yesterday I was at Safeway getting a couple items and saw her pushing carts, it was 11 degrees out!! She had no coat or gloves on! Her daughter ran up to her and rubbed her hands and gently pushed back her hair and hugged her. I swear I almost cried looking at that! I went over and hugged the elderly woman. She welcomed it and held my hand I wanted so much to just make everything better, pay off their bills etc. I don't have a lot of money but what could my family do for their family for Christmas, something that would really make a difference?

why christmas has become all about presents and gifts and less about the true meannig, celebrating the birth of our lord and savior Jesus. I know that he was not actually born on December 25th but why has it become so absorbed with buying things?

I know many find it weird to be into tickling, but I pretty much have been this way as long as I can remember. Forever, it was a sense of shame because it is different. I only tell girlfriends about this, my current one is great about it. Anyone else? Who do you tell and how have they reacted? I know lots of people on here think it's a weird thing to be into.

I just started a new job & I'm ready to quit. The pay is horrible & they do not train new associates. Then when I ask questions, everyone even the managers roll their eyes & talk to me like I'm a child. I have been doing my share of the work & others'.

I have a limited availability. I got this job to help out with bills (didn't need the job, just wanted to help out) but the pay will barely cover the gas I use up to get to work. At first, I had the idea that any job, any extra money would be good. But now, I don't think I can continue to work for people who don't respect me. I haven't found a single friendly co-worker. I'm not looking for friends, just someone who will teach me my job without talking down to me.

I am considering just not going back. My customers have better attitudes than my co-workers. My co-workers are even rude to the customers. I don't feel the pay ($6.45/hr 20-25 hrs/wk) is worth the hassle & stress. Should I just move on & find another job?

I'm not interested in what they think. And strangely - when they aren't busy pushing their views on others - they incessantly whine that Chistians proselytise ( they don't,except for fundies,and most Christians are Catholic or Orthodox).

There seems to be so much poor grammar and spelling on this and other sites that I wonder what is being taught in schools today. Is such a low standard of English acceptable, or does it display a lack of respect for the reader who does not seem to warrant the effort required to produce postings of a reasonable standard? Lately I have noticed sentences after sentences in postings with no capitals.

They seem to think the majority of Christians are fundies; most are Catholic. They never seem to comment of any reluigion other than "Christianity" (i.e. fundamentalism,so-called),which means they don't know anything about Hindism,Zoroastrianism,etc. Why post questions based on extreme ignorance?

So yes, my previous question with the Jehovah's Witness Bible being the most accurate Bible out to date..

Someone said "yeah that leaves Jesus out as God."

Jesus Christ cannot be God my friend, because God is an invisible spirit, who created Jesus? Himself? He spawned himself onto the Earth then created things? WWWWAIT!!? Impossible, life was created before Jesus..

Please please people, leave the stupidity at the door....

I would like for someone to read the most Major Bibles out there today then read the original Greek/Latin/Hebrew scriptures then come back to me....

Surely the joy of a special day comes from knowing it is exceptional? When a warm day follows cloud, or your birthday comes after just another day at work, you appreciate it. Is Heaven designed to take that all away? It just isn't possible to know what is good if the state remains constantly the same. We need darkness to value the sunshine.

My oldest daughter lost one of her sorority sisters this morning. My child is a believer and I am not. Any helpful ideas on what to say to her or just let her talk it out? By my definition of spirituality, believing in self, believing in the power of mother nature, believing in natural selection as a process, believing in the magical interconnectedness of life from lightning strike to amino acid to protein to organelle to single-celled organism to full life form, these are all forms of being spirtual.

What say you all? Can you accept that just like one singular person doesn't subscribe to every scientific theory all at once so too can can it be acceptable that many world-views can co-exist without belittling one over another?

It's the hebrew scripture,and Jews are forever claiming that their translations are superior and their understanding superior. Wouldn't they be the people to ask if they have a question about the OT? Do they even know that is the Jewish scripture? It's called the Tanahk. I never read it myself. I don't think most Christians do,other than fundies,since it's superceded by Christ's new covenant.
