Someone was going to cut its head off and get it ready to cook, and I just could not look.
What does that mean, good or bad, I have never dreamt about a fish before. My friend said it means something fishy is going on,
but she can't read dreams, and talks rubbish.

You're just used to eating fish in those classier joints that leave the heads on when they're served. Or you thought maybe the head would be discarded and you'd miss out on that fine fish head soup.

I love fish. I'm a Pisces. I went to an aquarium for my birthday just to look at great big fish! Okay, weirdness aside, fish means good luck and good fortune. If you caught a lot of fish in your dream when you hate fish and fishing, you are experiencing a lot of good fortune right now but maybe don't see it for what it is. It's time for Spring cleaning anyway, maybe you should do an inventory of all your possesions and realize just how much good stuff you have compared to people in the world who have literally nothing, and be grateful for the things and belongings you have. Then take some time and effort to donate some of your extra good used stuff to thrift stores and share with those less fortunate. Of course you are proud of all your fine possessions, you worked hard for them and earned them, right?

Why does it have to have an meaning at all ? People that write books , and do the lecture circuit are motivated by money , not your well being. Just place it in the catagory of "anxiety" dream, was it basically a bad day? If dreams had any bearing on life than I'd be married to Heather Locklear, live in a mansion, drive a Bently, vacation in the Greek islands and be overly happy all the time. Maybe dreams are just what thy are ...DREAMS.

I'd think back in my life and try to remember seeing someone cut the head off a fish. Were you afraid of them? Are you afraid of someone now? It sure doesn't sound like a pleasant dream.

To see a dead fish, signifies disappointment and loss of power/wealth.

To dream of cooking fish, indicates that you are incorporating your new realizations with your spiritual feelings and knowledge. If you are cleaning fish, then it suggests that you are altering your emotional expression in a way that will be presentable to others. You are censoring yourself and not expressing how you completely feel.

Is someone you know trying to stifle your idea or thoughts or feelings against your wishes?

Could it just be that you forgot to feed the pussy cat in your picture, the night of your dream...only joking... I have to say though, I do believe that our subconscious is at work when we sleep trying to tell us something...the hard part is trying to work out the jumbled mess our dreams come in
