even scientist know this that is why they are trying to clone humans by way of Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer(I am totally againts this by the way) but the point I want to make is if the big bang theory is so popular why not, try to bring forth life by way of exploting energy? instead, scientist try to replicate what the creator made. Doesn't t his tell you something about their true "faith" in the big bang theory?

The truth is that we cannot hide the fact that we were created not by chance but, by the God creator of heaven and earth.

I know it's because they say Jesus wasn't born in December but if that's the case why don't they celebrate in September or whenever they believe it was, does it really matter about the exact date being right?
But what's wrong with birthdays and Easter?

I'm not insulting any JWs out there, just wondered.

with all the things we know now , why are people still putting things like sleep paralysis down to demons and spirit ?
even when evidence is there , facts , medical research papers...
the answers to this question amazed me
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkSzxRhXgiTV6nfXhdgqEJUgBgx.;_ylv=3?qid=20071127100030AAPqGTz&show=7#profile-info-vCUhZzb8aa

even when Bettie said sleep paralysis near the top , still some went on to say that it was demons and evil spirits

doesnt it make you think that this is perhaps where the thought of demons originated initially ?
when people didnt know about things like sleep paralysis and hypnagogia ?

I was raised in the Church from an early age, and was into the typical youth group stuff all the way up through maybe high school, when I sorta lost interest in the whole thing.

Now that I'm off at college, with no parents to drag me to church on Sunday, I've pretty much stopped going - have been nearly gone from it for a few years.

Also, recent events are having an impact on me, and I'm finding that Christianity isn't really compatible with my lifestyle at present.

I mean, I still identify as Christian (on forms, surveys and stuff), but don't practice at all. My bible sits here on the shelf, unread for a long time.

It's just that living the life the bible commands would steer me down a path that I really don't want to go down right now - I'm not interested in marriage, family and a nice calm life at the moment.

I'm in my 20s and plan on living it up for a while here.
I know this sounds *very* selfish...but is there any hope for me if, at some point, I wanted to come back?

and then turned around and said that you dont have to follow the old testement anymore because he died on the cross.

Im just curious how you can use an old testament passage to attack homosexuals, and in turn, say you no longer have to follow the old testament.

Do all of you "new testament" followers vote yes for gay marriage due to not having to follow the old testament then?

Cristians.
Sure, not all of them are bad, but they can be pretty nasty.
I was talking to my uncle's freind about the sore topic, religon, and I told him that I think that God does not intervene in human affairs. And he says "Well you better get that thought out of your head or you are going to hell"
This is not a rare thing, why do you guys think that cristians can get so nasty when they defend their faith?
