I like many of the Christians, it's the fundies that have a problem with... brainwashed. I don't think an average methodist is advocating creationsim...

I think that some Christians simply accept what they hear from "trusted sources" and have no clue about how to objectively evaluate the facts. These particular ones have no idea of how ignorant they sound.
For the most part I don't have a problem with Xians, and have many relatives and friend that are.
I would like the majority to wake up though and realize that morality should be taught by example and not legislated into law.

Believe in what you believe in no matter what anyone says. Me and my mum are both atheists and my dad was raised a catholic but he doesnt follow anything about it now.
Personally i think that people who believe in "god" and "jesus" are really wanting the reassurance that they will go to "heaven" when they die. "jesus" sacraficed his life for us? i really dont think so, many people have gone down in history for dedicating thier lifes to help everyone else and the world but no one lives thier lives by them do they? "god" and "jesus" have just went down from generation to generation and this is the outcome.
all the supposed mircles that happened many many years ago are a load of bull to me, look at the world today we are in desperate need of some miracles, if there is a "god" then why is the world going through all this hurt? Why doesnt he do something now if he is so great?
i just really hate it when religious people tell me that i am not living my life properly that i am wrong, i am extremly happy the way i am. I have a great family, wonderful boyfriend and i am building a great career for myself.i dont tell religious people that the are living thier lives wrong, if thats how they want to live thier lives then fine.
Life is far too short, enjoy it while it lasts!!

I was raised atheist and became a Christian after college weird huh. Usually happens the other way around. Most of my friends are either agnostic or atheist because most the Christians I meet are too hung up on their faith to think of anything else and let minor differences in beliefs rule their feelings and thoughts.

I think Christians just have a different opinion to me.
I also think that there are good and bad people that are both Christians and Atheists. So it's not really what their belief is, it's more a case of what they are like as people.

I think Christians are a bit infantile but also lot nastier, angrier and more arrogant than any infants (naturally).
Anyone who makes an assertion without any solid evidence should be prepared to concede that they may be wrong...Christians seem to be quite unwilling to do this and find this most unattractive and aggressive.

Personally, I think all religion is a form of cultural brainwashing. Handed down through generations.
However that being said, I have no problems with anyone of a religious belief, as long as they keep those beliefs to themselves, not force me to listen to them, and keep them out of my government.

I'm an Atheist who thinks people are individuals and each person should do what works for them.
Who am I to tell someone not to believe in God if that makes their lives easier.
My decision is just for me.

im not trying to be rude, my honest opinion. christians are clinically insane and should be institutionalized. They talk to themselves, believe that they see and hear things that dont exist. And are completely out of touch with reality.
Thats my personal opinion. Sorry if you were offended. It was not an attack towards any specific person, it was an answer to the question.

I don't tend to give much thought to people as a group. I like certain Atheists, and I don't like others--it has little to do with their atheism--just if they are tools or not.
