Obviously, God was taking steroids to become so powerful. And I am afraid that He is suffering from 'roid rage every time He kills all the people.

how does one then make the leap from that to "it must be this specific or these specific creators/designers"? This is mostly directed to those of you who came to your faith through scientific study or argument...

I think highly of myself. I greet and nod at familiar faces because I want their recognition in return.

When someone looks at me coldly, I would put that person on my blacklist.

When someone told me to do something in a commanding, rude way, I would also put that person on my blacklist.

I'm extremely sensitive to criticism. I love compliments, even when it's fake since I wouldn't be able to tell anyway.
..........

Do I have a bad personality?

all they (Bible-fundamentalists) do is speculate about what the Bible is saying, so that means, there is a big possibility that they got some things wrong, if not all (which I doubt).

so, why do Bible-fundamentalists insist on converting other people to their beliefs when their beliefs are only based on their mere speculation of what the Bible is saying?

if Bible-fundamentalists are wrong in their speculations of what the Bible is saying and convert other people to their wrong beliefs, isn't that something like "Blind leading the blind"?

Someone asked about this tonight at my RCIA class.

He wanted to understand how a person who is not Baptised can perform a baptism on another person in an "emergency" situation.

The Priest and the Deacon did not have a full answer.

Does anyone have any ideas???

A co-worker of mine was recently divorced and tried to explain to me about the sealing process. I just don't get it. She is sealed to her ex but he is sealed to his new wife. She made it sound as if she had to be sealed to a man in order to go to heaven. I figure I must not be understanding this at all and I'm hoping someone can explain it to me. Thank you for any help - I appreciate it.

24:8 He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.

24:9 The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.

24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

24:11 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;

24:12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?

Before you just jump in and try to attack Mormons try to not be too judge mental and really think about it and try to understand better. Make sure before you say something find out if it is really true or not. I just asked this question mostly to see what people are confused about or find different so there is no need to pick on Mormons and how you think they are weird.

in REVELATION 1:8 - 8 “I am the Al´pha and the O·me´ga,” says Jehovah God, “the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty.”

***but*** jesus states in REVELATION 22:12-13
12 “‘Look! I am coming quickly, and the reward I give is with me, to render to each one as his work is. 13 I am the Al´pha and the O·me´ga, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

***** NOW.*** Consider
REVELATION 1:17-18
17 And when I saw him, I fell as dead at his feet.

And he laid his right hand upon me and said: “Do not be fearful. I am the First and the Last, 18 and the living one; and I became dead, but, look! I am living forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of Ha´des.

JESUS AND JEHOVAH ARE BOTH CLAIMING TO BE ALPHA AND OMEGA....BEGINNING AND THE END! WONDERFUL!

No talking snakes, no people living to be 300 years old, no arks, people getting turned into salt,etc... but a belief that Jesus lived the way people should and set a good example (minus getting nailed to a cross, that's weak).
Can I be a christian if I don't buy into the hocus pocus?

Dunga is a jungle boy living in the Amazons.
He has only been exposed to his tribes community and is only literate in his own tribal language.

Dunga's tribe got a book that teaches him on how their god created the world and is capable of helping him through special meditations. Dunga has experienced many miracles from his meditations and he feels that he got a authentic relationship with Yogana(his god).

Dunga has experienced miracles. Dunga can feel Yogana in his soul. Dunga will not be converted for his faith is unbreakable. Yogana also teaches that Jesus of Nazareth was a man and misinterpreted as God and anyone that put faith in Jesus will be doomed.

Christians, I do not say that your faith is fake. I do not say that you do not feel God in your soul. I do not say that God never answered your prayers.

However, Dunga for instance, has exactly everything you got with a different belief!

What does that mean?

How can two different beliefs claim same faith?

I've been here for a while, and I have seen how you all react to one another. Many on both side are ignorant to one another. Athiests are often ignorant to Christians and their faith in the bible. They don't want to learn, nor care to learn, but quick as a jackrabbit to criticize and ridicule. Christians are Oblivious to all scientific facts and care nothing about any other teachings religiously, unless it was said in the bible.

Some christians even said they love the god more than they love their OWN CHILDREN.

Neither of you are perfect, neither of you should be constantly playing this game of tug-of-war. Why don't you learn to respect beliefs, and respect choice of religion? Only then will we be able to have intelligent discussions, and not offend each other, all, the, time.

Why not start now? Say something nice about Atheism if you are a Christian. If you are a Christian, say something nice about Atheism.
