The Legend of the Holy Grail, relates to the plate or cup that Jesus used at the last supper. Whether or not the legend is true, the "cup" or grail may have been mentioned in the New Testament when the Lord spoke symbolically in His prayer to God, when He said, "Father, let this cup pass from me." He went on to say, "Not my will but thine be done."

The "cup" represented his death on the cross. He died as the perfect sacrifice and the last needed sacrifice for the sin of mankind.

If one would attempt to identify a modern Holy Grail, I suppose it would be the accepting of Christ as ones savior. At that point in their life, they accept His sacrifice for their sin and they become one with Christ.
