all they (Bible-fundamentalists) do is speculate about what the Bible is saying, so that means, there is a big possibility that they got some things wrong, if not all (which I doubt).

so, why do Bible-fundamentalists insist on converting other people to their beliefs when their beliefs are only based on their mere speculation of what the Bible is saying?

if Bible-fundamentalists are wrong in their speculations of what the Bible is saying and convert other people to their wrong beliefs, isn't that something like "Blind leading the blind"?

Noone contests that the Bible is the word of God, but I do not see why I should believe my crazy neighbor's PERSONAL interpretation of it!

All of our (Catholic) beliefs have basis in scripture, which those anti-catholic ignorami seem not to know.

Whose interpretation will you listen to: 2000 years of history and scholarship (Catholic Church), or some recent convert who suddenly 'saw the light', and now thinks he can read and interpret the bible?

Yes. Jesus described a similar situation in Matt 15:

Then the disciples came to him and asked, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?"

He replied, "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit."

Fundamentalists who continually attack original Christianity on the basis of a smattering of scriptures taken out of context and a heavy dose of Lutheran or Calvinist doctrine have very dim vision.

The beginning of the way to improve one's knowledge of Christianity is to note what the original Christians are saying, and have been saying since the first century. The Fathers know best.

To convert someone means they have no will of their own. May I suggest these people make an informed decision based on the moving of the Holy Spirit in their hearts. The blind, as you call them, see quite clearly. It is those with hardened hearts who cannot see.

No. The bible is pretty straight forward about going out and spreading God`s Word to all nations. What is God`s word?
It is to teach all nations that Jesus died for all sins and if you believe and ask Jesus into your heart, you will be saved from condemnation.

The Bible is God's word. If you disagree with God, you're wrong. Period.
