Satanists believe in the Devil, who is from the Bible, so therefore they believe in God, and Christians believe in Satan! The Satanists have to believe in God to be so against him, and vice versa! What do people think? Why do Satanists hate being called Christians?

I have a friend who covers the same social circle as me. He keeps offering to drive me home but if I accept it will take much longer than public transport (Which is free for me on freedom pass) as he takes a long way round and visits other places on the way. If I get away from an event before he can offer a lift he says it is rude to leave without warning. If I try to refuse the lift offered he gets offended at that at well. What should I do so as not to upset him, I have known him over 20 years so do not want to lose a friend.

Baca, The Valley Of (PLACE): [Hebrew 'emeq habakka'], The valley of Baca (Psalms 84:1) is either a historical place name or a symbolical expression for "deep sorrow". The first part of Psalms 84:6 seems to mean that by "passing through the experience of deep sorrow, righteous ones can make it the source of life." The Septuagint translated the phrase into Greek as "the valley of weeping". The word 'emeq "valley" has the root meaning of "deep", so the expression may mean "deep sorrow".

1) Darwin was upfront about the fact that the evidence was not in favor of his theory.

2) He described "Origin" as "one long argument" (his phrase). The point of this argument was that the "common ancestry thesis" was so logically appealing that it did not require rigorous empirical testing.

3) Darwin himself started the tradition of explaining away the fossil record. This tradition continues to this day.

4) Darwin cited selective breeding as a verification of his theory, but he did not acknowledge its limitations.

5) He did not subject his theory to any rigorous experimental testing.

These are all examples of odd deviations from regular and accepted methods of science. What does it mean for his theory, and for all the theories built upon his research?

can't they see that - unlike religion - science is a process of seeking the truth and that part of that process is admitting you don't have all the answers?

My friend has a disability and finds it hard to find places she can go on family days out where she knows her needs will be met (disabled toilets, parking etc). I know of a great website which can help people to find out more about attractions which are accessible, I'd be interested to know if this site would be of benefit to others... Please take a look, it's www.getaboutmobility.co.uk

it's a celebration that a protestant cult - one that would have been burned at the stake if it had originated in the Catholic part of Europe - managed to keep from starving to death thanks not to the help of God, but to some natives who would later all be killed off by said protestant cultists.

Sorry, am I being too cynical here?

I'm staying in a small town which is quite a populated. In this town we almost had all the governtment agencies such as Schools, Local Authority, Enforcement Auhority and several others. Recently several of my friends and I discussed about setting up a website to promote our community so that people will have more info about what's going on in our town, plus getting to know better their immediate neighbours.

We are not sure where so start it. Which authority to approach since it might involved the legal aspects of it.

For your info we are doing it out of awareness, and not a business oriented.
