Everyone knows god but nobody can prove they know god. What is amazing is that everyone who knows god and ask god questions and has god answer those question will get different answers from god for the same question.... as though he/she has multiple personalities.

I know that I, just like everyone else on this earth, do not know god and I don't need to pretend to know god.

Knowledge in Judaism is much different than knowledge in the English language. Let me give an example from Rabbi Akiva Tatz.

How do you know that you know how to ride a bicycle? Balancing a bicycle is something that cannot be explained. We can get a child close, but we can't explain the dynamics of it. So we put the child on a bike and after a few falls they get it. (Or avoid the falls by wrapping a towel around their waist and holding the towel.)

You could then ask the child "How do you know you know how to ride a bike?" Although the child would be totally unable to explain the physics, the child knows he knows because he can do it.

We know we know G-d when we can follow the Torah. The extent to which we are successful is an indication of how much we really know G-d. As Jews, we don't expect perfection. In fact, we don't have a word for perfection.

One of G-d's commandments is to help those in need. The extent you do that is an indication of how well you know G-d in this area.

No, I can't prove it. Only YOU can prove it to yourself by DOING it. In Hebrew the word "know" is a type of understanding that by definition can't be explained. All we can do is get you close so you can get it yourself.

I hate to say it but you just know. Little things confirm it like dreams sometimes. I read a lot of near death experiences and the things people see and are told in the afterlife by God and angels all confirm the things I always knew to be true about him. For instance I always had a hard time believing that God could actually send people to hell with no hope of escape if they weren't saved but I now know even after death it is not to late to be forgiven.

I believe the entire bible is true also. When I started researching about people's experiences with him and angels and things it helped me learn a lot more about him.

If you are asking how you know whether you have a relationship with God, you would want to know the following:
God wants us to spend eternity with Him, in heaven.
God has given us a way to do that, even though we are not perfect.
God spells out the way, in the bible:
John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father, but by me."
Romans 10:9 tells us: "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life." (John 5:24)
Note Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

1. Admit you are a sinner in need of a Savior.
2. Be willing to repent and turn from sin.
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried and rose from the dead.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come into your life and help you make these changes.
Receive Him as Lord, Savior and Mediator between you and God.

You might try reading, "The Purpose Driven Life". This is a book that will walk you through the verses in the bible that explain how to live a life that pleases God. This book is not a book you NEED to read. All you need to know is that God loves you and wants you to be with him, both in your life each day, and when you are no longer here, on earth. God tells us we must believe. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking it must be complicated.
Try viewing the following websites which make it pretty simple to understand . . . and don't listen to the various people who don't understand that God does really want us to be with Him. They will tell you it is really complicated. They will tell you that you need to delve into all the complexities of it all and decide it is much more complicated than it really is. Do believe the people who say: God loves you and wants you to be a part of His family. That is the truth. Follow the truth. By the way, I can't prove I will be in heaven when I die. I believe I will be, and that is what is required. I can prove I know God, because I beleive that, too. You asked whether I know God? I know the one who created me.
Here is a definition of know:
to perceive or understand as fact or truth; to apprehend clearly and with certainty, to be cognizant or aware of, to be acquainted with, to understand from experience or attainment, to be cognizant or aware, as of some fact, circumstance, or occurrence; have information, as about something. It sounds like you are really asking whether I believe I will have a permanent place with God - I do, and it is that, that sets you apart.

Silly....that is the assurance of salvation!!
IT IS EXPERIMENTAL. Taste and see!

1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him. And hereby we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us.
1Jn 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit.

IT IS EXPERIMENTAL.

Just like this. You married?

If your wife stands two inches away...it is love!
If a harlot stands two inches away....it is lust, flesh....

You know, that there is a difference!
