Oh, dear friend, you know what my family's like. If ever I was to ask them to pray before a meal --any meal-- they'd have me committed so quickly it wouldn't even be funny. Some things you just can't do in certain company. Giving thanks is one of them. I know, it makes no sense, but that's my family.

Yes. Often the youngest child in the family gets to say it. It's very moving to hear that little voice saying "thank you for this big world."

Yes. This is my prayer " I fold my hands, I bow my head thank you God for this good bread." Something I've been saying before ever dinner since pre-k. Kinda stupid, but I dont know of another short and easy one like that!

I dont have thanks giving :) ( im from england)
But for some weird reason my 8year old brother comes home from school and wants to say grace before dinner?? even though he has no clue why..
