Okay, so a little backround first: I was raised as a Mormon. Over the past few years, I realized I didn't agree with everything in the religion and don't attend church anymore. I still consider myself a Mormon (I was baptised), but an inactive one. I still support my friends and family who are strong in their beliefs, but I don't choose to live the way they do.
My question is this: What makes people (especially other Christians) harbor such a strong distaste for Mormons? Why can't these people just believe what they want and you can believe what you want? Most Mormons are well-meaning people who just want to do good for other people. All I'm asking for is a reason why you would hate a religion so much that you'd feel the need to speak such harsh words against it at the drop of a hat. Atheists are welcome to answer, but I guess my focus is on fellow Christians who seem to contradict themselves in speaking words of hate against another people, when Jesus said to love everyone...

What are alternatives to limit or stop this completely. We have allowed them to use it on breaks, but sometimes during slow hours, they sneak them out. It is annoying. If one does it, they all want to do it. Should we just eliminate cell phones completely while at work including breaks?

sociology studies have shown that the majority of the upper middle class or the rich class are not very religious and pious. the same studies have shown that those who live in more of a poor social economical environment are more pious and religious compared to the other classes i have just mentioned. why is it that the poor tend to be more religious than the rich?

People from France are French, people from Germany are Germans, but they are both European. People from Japan are Japanese and China are Chinese, but both are Asian. Why are people from Mexico not considered American. Isn't Mexico part of North America? Aren't Mexicans also Americans?

I am a new Bible student. Recently i've started studying the bible with an elder's wife. I know this is exactly what i want to do, but now that Christmas is coming around, I am finding it extremely hard to not celebrate. My thoughts are starting to go in other directions......I know it's not right because it's a celebration of nothing, really, but I am so used to it(It's the first Christmas that I am doing this)that i'm finding it really hard not to. What do i do? I'm only 18 and I can't just not show up.

Who is the most high? You claim Jesus is not God

so i looked for evdience in the watchtowers own recommended bible

Revelations 19: 13-16

His eyes are a fiery flame, and upon his head are many diadems. He has a name written that no one knows but he himself, and he is arrayed with an outer garment sprinkled with blood, and the name he is called is The Word of God. Also, the armies that were in heaven were following him on white horses, and they were clothed in white, clean, fine linen. And out of his mouth there protrudes a sharp long sword, that he may strike the nations with it, and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron. He treads too the winepress of the anger of the wrath of God the Almighty. And upon his outer garment, even upon his thigh, he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

I mean if Jesus is king of kings and Lord of Lords

what does that make him?

And is he not worthy of worship?
