Depends on the religion. Christians for example should not wear halter tops and short shorts to church services as it can be very disruptive , but Wiccans and pagans can wear whatever we want because it is not disruptive. The only rule there is to know what is expected before attending a ritual as some are sky clad which means they are naked and each person should be comfortable with that. Some traditions, covens groves like for everyone to wear robes so you should do whatever each tradition, grove etc does.

Yes!

In fact, I visited a church recently, and I was absolutely appauled at what I saw! I saw young teen girls wearing some of the shortest, most revealing skirts and shirts you ever saw! I could see everything! And, as if that wasn't enough, I also noticed a teenage boy and girl MAKING OUT on a couch, which was in the lobby area, (where the church had a coffee shop and lounge area.) This was during the sermon! Where are these kid's "parents"??? (I place the word parents in quotes, because I question whether they can even be called parents.) I kid you not, this was happening at a church. This particular church could most closely be described as a "seeker sensitive" church. I, however, alternatively call such churches LIBERAL!

The Bible speaks clearly about the modesty in both male/female dress. Also, it clearly emphasizes distinction between male/female. It does talk quite clearly about avoiding the vanity of outward apparel(putting on of gold,.pearls, and costly array)See II Tim. 2:8-10. There is alot in the Bible about how we should dress or not, women/men length of hair(remember distinction), etc. People just discard it for the big numbers of people they can get in the church. Basically, in a nutshell everything you are,do/don't, etc. should be a testament to the world of your faith.

Well if you dress like a slut then people are not going to think of you as an upright moral person, no matter what your beliefs are.

I see no connection with what a person wears and his belief in a god . Of course , Muslims see it differently .

Personally I would hope that if you go to temple, church, etc., you would dress nice and be clean. If you are talking for Spirituality I would say the same.

it does not matter to God and if men say it matters then it is their problem God looks at teh heart not the outer garments. they only count towards vanity and hell.
