On certain years it has been, after 9/11 for example, but mostly it's a time to sit down with family and friends, eat well, and maybe watch football.

You have a great Thanksgiving too Linz.

Yes definitely! It's all about thanking God for everything He has given us!

Really, Thanksgiving should also be on all of the 364 other days in the year!

Happy Thanksgiving to you!
Love in Christ
Rachel

LInz,
I am wandering into foreign territory here - LOL!

I am thankful without the "spiritual" effect where current memories being made are more important to me than those in the past.

Great question - for this YOU get a star!

Happy Thanksgiving my friend!

Gerry :)

Well... not Thanksgiving per se. But football games are. And there are always footbal games on Thanksgiving!

"Don't eat too much"? What's the point then...?

I love Thanksgiving! In past years we would have people write down everything they are/were gratful for. They don't put there names on it and someone reads them out loud

I belong to a religion that worships the turkey. The turkey is sacred to us. This day is the darkest day in our church's calendar. All we can do is pray to the mighty butterball for peace and survival today.

You are all going to burn in the darkest part of turkey hell for violating the sacred bird today. And you will do so soaking in basting in evil juices at 425 degrees... for ETERNITY!

Yes, it is!
I always consume an impresssive (and probably dangerous) amount of spirits every Thanksgiving!

All the best to you and yours, beautiful girl!

No, because its not spirtual time for may people it is more of a family time to spend with people you dont always do during the year.
