Hey there , I am in grade nine considering switching to a Christian school. I am a girl of strong faith in god and try to keep god center of my life and would like to further do so by going to a Christian school .One problem though I want to be a light to others and share my faith just by living it out. If I go to public school like I am others will see the diference but I also am exposed to some things I wouldn't be other wise and I am not getting to learn about god at school witch I really would like to.

In a conversation having nothing to do with religion someone reveals their religious affiliation (or non-affliation). They do not continue on about it nor do they bring it up again. Would this be rude?

Depending on how it is done this would probably end the conversation in most situations but would this be rude?

I responded to a question, which had a sexual undertone to it. I responded by answering the question, but letting the person know that the question was not really approate. i read all responeses this person recieved after i responded. my response was vry much a rated pg 13. others were so graphic,, i'm suprised they were able to do that. Now i answered this question a month ago, and just now i was turned in for violating the terms.. how did i violate them? I did nothing wrong, however i feel i was turned in because this person took offense. so i was "punished" by having points removed from my account. i feel how is this helpful and logical, if anyone who doesn't like a response can "turn you in" for violation... when nothing has been? what is the point of this yahoo answers, if anyone can just claim something and yahoo doesn't even investigate? just wondering if this has happened to anyoen else? becaus ei'm seriously thinking opf closing my accoutn with yahoo.

Here is what I think:

We Catholics would never tell non-Catholic Christians what they believe but instead accept their statements of their belief; although, unlike the Catholic faith, there is usually no source to verify their beliefs as it is with Catholics where one can go to the Catechism and see exactly what Catholics believe. Therefore in this modern age of instant information, via the computer, there is no excuse when one bears false witness against Christ’s Church and the faithful. Such actions must, if one uses reason, be intentional prevarification. There is simply no other explanation except laziness. Actually it is correct in saying that one may be a wannabe Catholic but it probably is not intentional desire but ............

I know some groups deny the trinity. For those who don't believe in the trinity can you explain why Jesus taught to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost? Just curious what you think of the following verse.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

I sometimes pray for material things. I'll pray for a test to go okay, or a football game to go well. I feel upset if my prayers aren't answered, and I know that prayer should be used for others, and that I feel even more upset. Does anyone have tips on how to pray, what to pray about, etc.?
