Haha, no, your answers not that bad.

Don't worry though mate, this happens to both sides, it seems as if you can't post an answer anymore without a bunch of insane christian fundys or athiest who can't understand that people have different opinions then them spitting all over your answer and reporting it needlessly.

I once had a person tell me I was stupid because I thought a "64 cell organism has more of a right to live than an 18 year old black kid on death row".

I nodded at him and said "You fail to see it through my eyes. The way you worded it, it sounds ridiculous, but if you saw it with my eyes. Yes, an innocent child has more of a right to live than a murderer."

I don't believe your answer, I believe God created the potential for free will, because he knew there would be more good than evil in the world, and I think its right that there still is more "good" than "evil" in the world (once again, that depends on your views)

However; I respect your view, and see it as totally possible. I really wish we could just accept the fact our views conflict. OK, so we both can't be right, but the way that both sides are consistantly insulting the other, not a day goes by I don't see "ignorant, gullible christian" or "immoral atheist".. can't we all just... get along? without all the thumbs down because their answer is slightly different than what we are accepting as a matter of "faith" or "unproven science"?

-- Edit, hilarious that I see all of the back and forth insults in this question's answer list already man.. thats rich.

Your answer was SO awesome. I completely agree with you, after all, what you said was only logical. However, remember that Christianity is a religion completely based on faith. As you probably know, faith has absolutely nothing to do with logic. Therefore, the types of people whose minds can willingly embrace the ideals of Christianity are probably unable to reason things out the way you did. The only thing they probably WERE able to see was the word "evil" associated with the word "God", which caused them to immediately assume you were calling God evil. That's about as far as their "logical reasoning" probably went in this particular case (and in most cases). Hence the reason you received so many thumbs-down.

That's my theory anyway. :)

13. It grew to become into on how females might desire to easily get their rights taken away because of the fact of our actual weak point (and that there could be no longer something we would desire to do approximately it) and curiously some adult males do unlike whilst some females counter this via asserting that we've our very own good suits and whilst it incorporates survival one will do each and every thing to proceed to exist so much inexpensive photos are ok in such circumstances. I offended some human beings, merely one guy or woman agreed with me nevertheless, too undesirable :P

Your answer is interesting - I have heard that point before, about God not being able to be all good as well as all-powerful, but I would like to mention a couple of other traits of God, that can be factored in, so to speak. God is all-good, all-powerful, all-wise, and, included in "all-good", He is all-compassionate. Yes, in being all-powerful He could remove all suffering, but He has chosen not to, so, since He is all-good, and all-compassionate as well as being all-wise, He must have in mind a good reason when He doesn't remove it, and even a good reason why He doesn't always tell us His reasons for not removing it. Since He is good as well as wise, He can bring good out of things that are or seem evil.

Some of the suffering or evil is caused by the selfishness of humans. For whatever reason, He has chosen to allow us at least some measure of freedom in our choices, even though we know that that freedom, when exercised, results in a lot of pain for people. So then, when we add in His compassion, as shown by the way Jesus lived His life on this earth, showing compassion, and giving His life on the cross, taking the punishment for all our sinful choices, we see that He is not aloof from us. He hurts with us.

I think that these factors are so often overlooked when people discuss "the problem of evil," but if we get to know God personally, and take all these things into consideration, things make a bit more sense.

So, to answer your question, "Is my answer all that bad" I would say, no, it just needed the addition of a few pieces to the puzzle, so to speak.

I don't think it's that your answer is bad. You reason and logic are good.I just think that a lot of people don't like the idea you are presenting. Try not to take close mindedness personally.

edit-and now of course people are following your link just to give you more thumbs down. They are just messing with you. Ignore them.

You know, usually when someone asks a question about one of their own previous questions or answers, I find them whiny. But in this case, I have absolutely no idea why you got all those thumbs downs. Don't worry too much about it.

I thought it was a great answer. All it means is there are far more nutty christians on right now and giving you a thumbs down will help them get to heaven.
