How many years did you serve for? Why did you love doing it? (or perhaps you didn't like it?...) Any good stories?

I'm a former altar boy. I don't really have too many interesting stories, other than almost setting my own robes on fire with the thurible (incense burner) once. Also, I drank more Communion wine than I probably should have.

I was an acolyte why I was younger. My brother and I did it for about 2 or 3 years.
