Tell her firmly that you didn't ask for her opinion. So please don't give it.

I find those kinds of comments from a co-worker to be quite rude, however, I don't think comebacks are appropriate. They are always confrontational and can therefore elicit more confrontational comments. Choose instead to ignore the comments and walk away. Their poor taste doesn't justify a response. The person is a bully in adult clothing and bullies hate to be ignored. They will go away when they find that you are not interested in playing their game.

I would just tell your co-worker in private that you don't feel comfortable with the comments that she makes about your clothes, and that you are sure she would not appreciate it if you were to make comments on her attire. Tell her that if she continues to comment about you that you will sever all friendship ties with her and keep your relationship strictly professional.

I work with a similar loud mouth woman who refers to my pregnancy as being "knocked up", and there are times when I want to knock her out. I am bidding my time, and if she continues with her comments I will firmly tell her that I DO NOT appreciate her referring to my pregnancy as being knocked up. Very crass thing to call a beautiful thing.

Simply tell her that her comments don't only matter but aren't called for, she needs to be a respectful co-worker and if she wants respect she must earn it, and she's not doing a good job of it right now.

Well, anything you say back to her is not going to be well received and can most likely end badly for you. Also, some things that you could come up with to say could be construed as sexual harassment. You need to be careful.

Otherwise I would say, "Yes well, Its nice that you pay enough attention to me everyday to notice what I am wearing and all. Really I am flattered. But I'm just not interested in you."

one of these days when she asks if your going to a wake just say yes. make up a story about a dead relative. turn on the water works (because your really going to miss cousin betty). she'll feel horrible, and she probably wont do it again.

Tell her that you're wearing it because in return your wife/girlfriend is dressing extra slu**y hot for you, and that it's too bad that she's so frigid that she doesn't have a similar arrangement.
