Some times i don't write the right words and my spelling is much to be desired but that don't make me stupid! So why do people have to be so mean?

Do aliens know about Jesus?

I know no one knows the answer, but what is your guess? Here are my theories:

1) There is no other intelligent life in the universe

2) God has sent his Son to die multiple times across the universe, dying once each time for each alien race.

3) When Jesus died, it was a one time thing and he died for the sins of aliens as well as us.

4) No alien race in the entire universe has never committed original sin so they live in a Garden of Eden type atmosphere so the sacrifice of Jesus is unnecessary.

Why theory do you think might be true?

I know no one knows, but it is interesting to think about.

I am writing a book right now, its not to preach any sort of religon, it just has characters from these three religons, and I would like to know what real people who practice these religons consider thier relationship with God. Please let me if you can, go into detail.

Do you think denying a God is a little bit on the ignorant side? Reason is GREAAAT but why rely on reason alone? Reason alone did not give some people the passion to succeed. In fact, without Christianity, i believe western europe would still be in the dark ages so.... Why do so many atheists pride themselves in being so?

Is there a scripture in the bible that says that the bible should or should not be taken literally?( literal here doesn't mean symbols and figures of speech employed by the author are not recognized. I am refering to interpreting the scriptures word for word.)

2. If the answer is no. There is nothing wrong wether you choose to interpret the bible liteally or not. Agree or Disagree? Explain.

3. If nonexistence of a scripture does not mean that we should or we should not interpret the bible literally, then why should we or should we not interpret the bible literally.

Old Testament makes circumcision to be an EVERLASTING COVENANT: "He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money (your slaves), must needs be CIRCUMCISED: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an EVERLASTING COVENANT." [Genesis 17:13
"And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be CUT OFF (be killed) from his people; he hath broken my covenant." [Genesis 17:14]
Jesus (pbuh) was circumcised on the eighth day, to fulfill the law: And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. [Luke 2:21]
Paul even abandoned circumcision
For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?"

I would find it disappointing that someone would reject a candidate because of their religious views even if they agreed with them on political issues.

How important is someones religion (or lack there of) when you are voting for someone?

seems to me if god is perfect the old testament should be perfect as well. what was right in the old testament as far as punishment goes should be right today. but it isn't. why not?

He is a very nice person, but has been off of his meds. He's bi-polar and potentially extremely dangerous. I've noticed that his attitude has been swinging more toward the depressive side lately. In fact, it is starting to show up in his questions on here. What do you do when you know someone is about to snap, when you not only know that he is too strong and dangerous to stop, but that the stress could kill him?

I've always thought it was someone who CHALLENGES you in a positive way and allows you to be YOU -- the way YOU are SUPPOSED to be -- whatever that means. I always thought it would make sense, once I've met them. At one point in my life, I actually thought I did, but now I have no friggin clue anymore.

Can someone give me the proper meaning of a soulmate? I don't believe, that just because you love someone a lot, they're your soulmate. It has to be deeper than that.
