It is not revealed where his body was taken. However, just as Elijah was also taken to another place on earth, there is no evidence to believe that Enoch was taken to heaven -- for, as you have pointed out, the Scripture would have to be contradict itself if he had.
Even King David is not yet "in heaven" as the Apostle Peter pointed out (Acts 2:29).
There may even be a metaphorical meaning to "God took him" -- it could mean that God accepted him into the Book of Life, or something similar.

How many choices are there? Do we know, Christian or not, how many other places there are?
Some would say that Enoch built things on the Earth that are still here. And also, which part of heaven did Enoch go? And Elijah as well, where did he go? How many places can there be?

Perhaps, to a different location where he later died, or else John contradicts the Torah and Paul.
"By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God. ... These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth" (Heb 11:5, 13).
Honestly, we cannot say for sure. The Torah leaves us guessing.

All he day's genesis 5 speak's of the time the person lived . All Enoch's day's were three hundred and sixty five year's this is the amount of time that he lived.Tthen he was translated (carried over / transferred / transported) from life to death similar to the death of Moses. Now Enoch await's the resurrection of the just.
Enoch was not Gen5 meant the person died was no more.

God ended Enoch's life so's he wouldn't see a violent death at the hand of his opposers (there weren't any good ppl left on earth, or at least not many).
He wasn't taken to heaven because the way to heaven had not yet been opened.

Enoch was translated. Who knows what translated means. Paul and the apostles had not gone any where when Paul said, has translated us into his kingdom.
Elijah was not taken to heaven, he was hidden and writing.

Jesus did no longer explicitly say, in scripture, that he's God yet there is greater effective than adequate information in scripture to coach it. It does no longer rely if he did besides simply by fact JWs could locate the thank you to describe it away like the different scriptures simply by fact it contradicts their "presuposition" of the Oneness of Jehovah. they don't comprehend the Trinity which teaches Christ is one hundred% guy and one hundred% God. it relatively isn't simple to appreciate for any people yet that doesn't advise that it is not genuine. Trinitarians have self assurance that Christ grew to become into guy, it relatively isn't in dispute and doesnt contradict the Trinitarian doctrine, it affirms it. besides the incontrovertible fact that, he's likewise God in the Flesh. he's subordinate to the daddy in place yet no longer in nature.

The Bible doesn't say. Those are some of the things that we won't know until Jesus wants us to know. But we will know all things when Jesus wants us too.

It means he took him to heaven. Often when people die and go to heaven it is expressed at 'being taken to be with God' or 'going to a better place' (I'm sure you've heard that one before) or even 'accending with Jesus/God)
