Every year I notice more Americans get frustrated and angry during the Holiday Hustle & Bustle, and I wonder what the most common worry is as we approach Dec. 25th. Please pick the one category that concerns you the most:
A) Family Visiting
B) Lack of Family nearby
C) Meal Preparation going smoothly
D) Gift buying/wrapping/receiving
E) Shopping Stress
F) Financial Stress
G) Time Constraints
H) Travel Concerns
I) Other___________________

Thanks!

B.

Since my siblings and I all entered the Military as young adults (and since we buried our parents as very young adults), we have been scattered all over the place .. and ... being the Oldest (Female) and the ONLY single one ... I do MISS family at this time of the year!

So for me, having the LACK of Family nearby does impact me some at Christmas.

F. I.

Also is a concern.
Since I've basically been single for my adult life (Survivor of a Short Disaster of a Marriage to an abusive and Violent Sociopath), and since the Ex still torments me almost 2 decades AFTER the divorce .. He does a LOT of torment around Christmastime ... and Financial was a Problem for quite a few years, since I had to purchase my way out of this disaster of a marriage. He also abused me/the children at Christmas (and destroyed Christmas Presents, Stole money and property from me at Christmas too) ... I always have some problems with nightmares/flashbacks at this time too.

D) Gift buying

I do my Christmas shopping online, so I tend to get a little worried about whether it will arrive on time for Christmas. I live in Asia so shipping can take 2-3 weeks. Other than that, nothing worries me as much.

Happy Holidays!

Definately the financial stress. We have 1.5 income and 4 people going to school. I always stress out because we live paycheck to paycheck and it's impossible to save for Christmas. I usually get very depressed the month of December. I know the true meaning of Christmas, however its very hard to take your children to family gatherings with everyone asking "What did you get for Christmas" and they have something from the Dollar Tree and their cousins what the kids all want.

A
I don't mind my kids, but the in laws always make me nervous. I always seem to offend them. We have been married for over 25 years, and I still offend them!
