1 Timothy 2:3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
Isaiah 43:3. For I am Jehovah thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
Isaiah 45:15. Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Savior.

have adult child, who has used you for money and only comes around when they want something? My daughter recently married this past Sat. I paid for her wedding, and has now turned against me based on what her in-laws, who she lives with said about me which simple is not true She does have complex partial absent seizures and doesn't even remember her vows...it was sad. She didn't even ask me what happened, just told me what she heard from them. I am shocked, and feel like my heart has been ripped from my chest. I told her maybe I should just move away and start a new life, and she said that would be a good idea. She has up set the rest of my family by saying that she and her husband will not attend holiday gatherings if I am there, causing drama for all of them too. I just don't get it!

I was talking with my mother the other day about this. I have a cousin that would rather her children date someone of the same gender than someone of a different race. I have no problem with either, as long as my children are happy. Think is, I informed my mother that in the bible there is nothing against inter-racial relationships, but there IS about being with someone of the same gender. If anyone knows of the passage in the bible that my mother is trying to claim is there, please let me know. I have yet to hear about this ever. I am a Christian woman, but people are people and as long as they aren't hurting other people, let them be. It is not our place to judge. Leave that up to God. As long as they aren't breaking laws, let them be.

The Ten Commandments - (moral imperatives)

Love your neighbor means love everyone around you. Do you love everyone around you.

Irrespective of creed, color, class (rich or poor),

Can you love someone bad

Are you really loving your parents, teachers, friends, colleagues,

Are you good to everyone around you? Do you help people around you?

If you follow the above, you are already following The Ten Commandments.

My question too is, are you a true christian following the The Ten Commandments sincerely. If you are following, what is that which is making people not to follow them as they are so good.

If someone calls and says “Can I speak to Jane Doe?”

Do you reply, “Yes, this is her” or “Yes, this she”

People in Europe actually have fun. Europeans don't find it necessary to illegalize everything that is fun. Every summer I take a trip to Europe. Every time something new and fun comes along, Christians have to come along and call it a sin and illigalize it just to ruin everyones fun. When I turn 18, the first thing I'm doing is to do whatever it takes to become a legal citizen in one of the European countries.

Big question. I have rheumatoid arthritis I am in pain everyday and if I don't take shots I don't walk. I am 30 with a handicap placard. It sucks. I have prayed and prayed tried meditation, I still am in pain. Why doesn't God take it away. I did not ask for this and I try to stay positive, I tried that game plan too. It is not working. I am worried about my future and I am too young for it too end not well. So why. The doctors are not helping. And I do not understand. You know sometimes God works, sometimes prayers work, but what about for the big stuff. If doctors can't heal me then who can? So what else can I do? Spin on my head, do a hat dance. I mean what. I want it to go away. And if God is all good and we can do all things through Christ then why can this not be done?

Hi,

1)I heard from most of the Wiccans that there is no evil.
But how can this be, we all do kill other living beings to survive.

Isn't it the most evil and everlasting truth?
Besides that, people fight, rape, war etc., aren't all these actions evil?

2)If God/dess -or both- created the universe with love, where is all those evil coming from?

3)If there is a dualist point of view in Wicca -Goddess & God, Women & Men, Evolution & Involution etc- why isn't there Good & Evil?

I am not against Wiccans, I know you have a very peaceful system.
I just want to know your way of thinking.
Thanks.

You're supposed to suffer because of your great-grandma, Eve. That means no tennis and no gym class.

Read Jeremiah 18:1ff ..The story of the Potter's and his clay story.
Are you wiser than your CREATOR , oh you puny creature ; called men ?

What say you all?

I went to the gas station yesterday and went inside to pay. As I came outside, there were 6 guys dressed in army clothes, recruiting people. One of them shouted, "Hey!" as I walked towards my car. I ignored it as I wasn't interested, being a college student and not holding a favorable opinion of our doings abroad anyways. He called again and started jogging after me. I turned around and he was offering some kind of card. I said,"I'm not interested," and turned to walk to my car. He says, "Oh, you're just going to turn your back on me like that? Give it to a friend" I turn around again and say, "I'm not interested, my friend aren't either," and turn to walk to my car again.

My class viewed a film on contemporary feminist spirituality this morning that mostly focused on Goddess worship and featured very few men. Because of this, the one male who decided to attend class today asked if the men in these religions play any specific roles. Half of the women in the class immediately jumped down his throat and said rather ugly things to him, but I think it was a legitimate question for someone who knows nothing about the religion. Are there specific roles for men and women within these belief systems? Sources to email and/or post would be appreciated!
