People in Europe actually have fun. Europeans don't find it necessary to illegalize everything that is fun. Every summer I take a trip to Europe. Every time something new and fun comes along, Christians have to come along and call it a sin and illigalize it just to ruin everyones fun. When I turn 18, the first thing I'm doing is to do whatever it takes to become a legal citizen in one of the European countries.

It really depends on what country, but for the most part, I'd agree. Interest groups in this country, and hypocritical, outmoded puritanical mindsets have really stifled this nation. Of course, the jingoistic proponents of such dreck will mindlessly spout angry rhetoric in your direction, telling you to "git out of this country, dammit!" which only lends credence to a logical, stable human being's desire to leave this sinking ship.
On the flip side, you do have an inaccurately flowery idea of what Europe is really like: it's not as loose and free as you believe it to be. However, it's certainly less silly and hypocritical than this place, so I wish you godspeed!

I would like to visit there, not sure if I want to live there or not. I would like to visit the countries where my ancestors came from: England, Ireland and Norway.

So what's stopping you? Move over there and stop whining about it.

You have choices, you know. This isn't a Soviet gulag!

You will find you don't like it as much as you think you will.
Those countries you think are 'free' to do what is fun, are not really free! This is the ONLY country that is truly a free country.
But go if that is your attitude. We have enough people hating America as it is.
