Since there is no god, hence there is no curse.
Free your mind. My mind has been free for over 10 years.

I call myself an atheist as a form of simple personal integrity. I'm just being honest, I do not claim to believe something that I do not believe, because that would be lying... Why is so hard to accept that I know what I believe - why is it necessary for you to make up some excuse for why I simply do not share your belief? Is this question an example of your own insecurity? Are you really so threatened by the fact that a small minority of the population does not think and do as you do - that you need to try to bully us into pretending to believe the same thing as you - even if it is not the truth? You must have a very weak faith indeed, if you need so much moral support, that you cannot stand to do without mine.

Close! It's freedom from believing in an irrational construct, and having a lack of patience for anyone brainwashed enough to ask such inane questions.

Yes, and Christianity is a curse from the Flying Spaghetti Monster for having a lack of intelligence.

No.
Atheism is misdirected faith. I personally think Atheists are people of great faith.
They believe the entire wonderful universe came into being all by itself from the smallest subatomic particle to the most immense galaxy and from the amazing complexity of the human mind to the love between a mother and child.
I find it much easier to believe that an all powerful and all loving God is behind it all.
I do not have enough faith to be an Atheist.
With love in Christ.

thumbs down or not, spiritualists are passionate about life. maybe atheists are lacking patience with life... with possibilities. atheism is a lifestyle and definitely not a curse but to be narrowminded about any subject is wrong. there are devout followers of God and followers of reason but both sides merging together would make a more stable society i think.

Not really, atheists have more patience because they bother to search. Theists have no patience, therefore they reply every answer with "god says so"

Atheism is a blessing we get for being willing to look reality in the face.
