I will be cooking a 14 lb Turkey that I would like to stuff it with "cooked" rice, ground beef, nuts and spices. Do I need to have the stuffing at room temperature and should I stuff the bird before or when its halfway cooked?

I know there are worries about stuffiing not being cooked enough while it's inside the bird, but I ALWAYS have, and I have been making our family get-together's turkey every year and I also have cooked it in those cooking bags from Reynolds ever since they have come out with them and I LOVE how they work..it does cook better, faster and less mess for clean up..Good luck with this and I hope you and those you love have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with many PEACEful moments....;0)

Stuff the bird after it's cooked. You're less likely to run the risk of food poisoning that way.

Always have stuffing at room temp. When at room temp then stuff the turkey.( that means before)
Hope all turns out well.
