As a Muslim, my personal view of God is one that cannot be explained in words, but also felt with every shred of my being. With every thing in this world that I see and everything that I feel and all that I cannot see, I believe that God is there.
He is the only One that has the most power over all things.

My relationship with Him is to try to be as humble as I can be and to follow his instructions to best live in this world and to go to a good place in the hereafter.

Where does Christianity fit into it all. Jews only see Jesus as a prophet and not needing Him to get into Heaven. (Heresy)
Muslims also and believe in Alah sure isnt it the same as God? Not really. And Catholics pray to Mary because they believe she was brought up to heaven before she died and also that confession to the priests. They believe the priest can intersect for you and get forgiveness for your sins. The Bible says that Jesus intereceded for us thats why he died on the Cross. But write what you want but first read carefully word for word so as not to add to or takeaway from the Bible and slip into heresy and take one side over the other.

I consider God to be my father, but also my Lord and master. He is the God of the whole world, but also my own God. He offers me love, but also discipline. Remaining true to his covenant, he has promised his people, of which I like to consider myself a member, resurrection to reign on a renewed Earth. In the meantime, he has sent me his Spirit to motivate me to walk the path of Christ. He cries when I cry and he smiles when I smile, but is angry when I disobey. All in all, I consider my relationship with God close yet far away: close, because God is with me even though I cannot see him; far away, because I cannot yet look upon his face. Because I feel close with God, I do my best to obey him, but because I feel far away from God, I look forward to the day when I will, in the words of the author of the first epistle of John, "see him as he is" (1Jn 3:2).

Wow.. No Christian viewpoints? I realize this is an incredibly bold statement but I would defend it to the death -- Only born-again Christians can have an actual relationship with the one true God.

I'm not a scholar, but if you will accept an ordinary point of view, this is what I regard my relationship with God. I'm a Muslim,by the way. For better details and informative sources you will have to go to the very core of our belief. The Quran and The Prophet Traditions, with true interpretation, not by people who naturally prejudice against us.

In relation to God, I am but a humble servant. I am but a creation of His. He provide me with the faculty of sight, of speech, of hearing, and of understanding, is with one and one purpose only. To understand His creation, His Might, His Power, to know that I came from Him and unto Him is my return.
The will power, and the ability to reason, is special trait given only to a creation name human. Because we are the vicegerent of God on this world. We are to administer it, not destroy it.

For me there is no god but the One True God. The name Allah, is just that, which translate, "The God". The word Islam is an arabic word which translate,"Submit to the Will of God", not just any submission, but submitting wholefully and sincerely to His Will, which means God stood above all else. And us the Muslim, which translate,"one who submit to the Will of God."
The same thing that is preach by all the messenger of God throughout the ages. Its the same with what Abraham tought, Moses Law, and Jesus Christ said. Jesus The Anointed. And the culmination of all this teaching is with Muhammad al-Mustafa. Muhammad The Chosen One, (peace and salutation be upon them all).
With Abraham, its mainly prayers. With Moses the Scripture is sent in the form of Law. With David the Hymm. With Jesus Christ, the Message of Mercy, and with Muhammad, the Explainatory verses. In continous harmony. How do I know this? Because it is written in the Quran that that is so. All of their teaching is complied into one final Scripture, The Quran, kept as A Preserved Tablet, sent by God Himself, and guaranteed by God Himself that none may change them. The one truth that can never be change no matter how many genius there is working to change its words. It still the same copy no matter where it is in the world. No matter how long time have passes. Even after more then 1400years have pass since the death of the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh), it still is the same copy today as with the original. That is the Miracle of Quran. The truth of God's promise and surety.
Of the Prophets,There is no different in any and all of them, I revere Moses. I revere Jesus Christ, but although Jesus Christ is among the closest men there is to God, he is still but a man. The same with Moses, the same with Muhammad, and Their ancestor Father Abraham. They are the closest men to God. They are the Great Teachers, chosen to lead and teach mankind by God Himself. But they are still men, not God. and if they saw us today they will sure be sadden, of which I don't doubt God will show to them. They are after all the witness over us.
That is how I saw myself in relation to God, in relation to other religion. I'm not sayin that I am a better person, I'm saying this just as a reminder, to myself and to people who will listen, as commanded by God. Wait us then for that time to come.

Wallahu'alam. God know best.

Anything good comes from God, anything that bad comes from myself. Let examine ourselves and reconcile sincerely, before we went to see God Himself. The true answer is with Him, and He will explain to us what we are disputing about here.
