What are some similarities and differences between the two?
I know that both pass out the Host, but Catholics don't see it as a symbol of the Body of Christ; instead they see it as the Body of Christ through transubstantiation.

Why do peole feel the need to draw that particular line in the sand. My bf (not white, not black) hate when persons refer to me that way!

Whites, do you even notice when you make that subleminal separation.

All I know right now is that I simply don’t know if there is a god or not I just assume there isn’t any. That’s why I consider myself an atheist. My attitude towards god is the same as my attitude towards UFOs, Unicorns, ferries, Ghosts, Psychics, Santa, The Easter bunny.

I don’t believe in the existence of God for the same reason I don’t believe in the things I just mentioned above. Evidence.

But there are miracles right?

For me a true miracle is the ultimate evidence that there is something out there

So what I’m asking you for is to provide me with Evidence of acts of God such as miracles. Find me information about miracles or other supernatural events that have been scrutinized by the scientific community and deemed as out of this world.

I’m an open minded person. My mind is open but not so open that my brain will fall out.

PS: Personal anecdotes wont do I need evidence

I consider myself young to be thinking about child-bearing and the like, but for you, do you wish that you'd be able to bear and raise a child? Or that technology would be able to give you teh chance to conceive a child by biological means?

If your parents are still living, please make every effort to spend time with them this Thanksgiving/Christmas/Holiday season. This will be my first Christmas and Thanksgiving without my father. He passed away earlier this year from cancer. We had wonderful Christmases together, so I don't have any regrets, but I'm not looking forward to going to my parents house and not seeing him. So, no matter if you're arguing with your parents, don't like them too much, whatever...put that stuff behind you and realize that life is short. People you love will be gone long before you're ready to let them go.

I received a letter in the mail from "International Lotto Commission" informing me I had been chosen to win 615,810,00 amount of money. The attached page asked me to fill out information to receive this money to my bank or to receive by check. If you don't give bank information, you are to submit copy of your driver's license, etc. by email or fax. No return address. Please be warned about this.

There is also another site that on here called "myhomerewards" that will bill your credit card without your knowledge.

Have you received any of these things or had something like this happen to you? If so, please report it immediately.

Since, last thursday, I've been having couple of really nasty thoughts in my head (don't want to talk about them...lets just say blasphemous ). The weired thing is that, the words that I'm associating with those thoughts, are used frequently by me (not good words) .I tried to not think of those thoughts, but it got worse. And because of that I can't focus on my studies these couple of days. Same thoughts are in my head all day long. Also, lately I have trouble concentrating or focusing on anything. I'm not very religious but am a strong & true christian. Help me !

For those who were not spared agony and death in the concentration camps, was it because they didn't pray hard enough? Or that they prayed and were told "no"?

Does that mean that once again, "God" knew their real needs better than they did and decided that their lives were not real needs? Or does it mean that God had condemned them?

If that's the case, and the Nazis killed them off, does that mean the Nazis were the hand of God?

Does it not make more sense to just admit that God, if it exists, had and has no hand in this world, and that people do terrible things and may or may not get away with it?

Many of my people were killed.. the gays.

On top of spaghetti all covered with cheese.
I lost my poor meatball when somebody sneezed.

It rolled off the table, it rolled on the floor,
And then my poor meatball rolled out of the door.

It rolled in the garden and under a bush,
And then my poor meatball was nothing but mush.

The mush was as tasty as tasty could be,
And early next summer it grew to a tree.

The tree was all covered with beautiful moss.
It grew great big meatballs and tomato sauce.

So if you eat spaghetti all covered with cheese,

According to Christian theology if a young girl who does not accept Jesus is raped and murdered she is bound for Hell, eternal punishment and torture. One would think the rapist/murderer would be bound for the same destination upon his demise for such deeds. However, if this man were to repent of his deeds and past sins, and accept Jesus, when he dies it is believed that this man will enter Heaven and live in bliss for all eternity.

How can a god that sets up a situation like this be a fair god? If you claim god is fair please include your reasoning.

I was going around wipeing a few cubicles for our company party later tonight, and one of the guys i work with asked me to go wipe down his furniture.. He said " you can wipe down my desk and stuff to, or are you going to ask me to do it myself?"
What should i have done?

I just think this guy really has no manners there has been a few instances for example: i was moving a big box of water obviously too heavy for me and he walked right by me, didnt even offer to help.. he eats everything i mean everything... there were cupcakes in the kitchen obviously for one of the girls b-day (there where balloons in there too that said happy b-day) and before she even walked in the door, or before we even sang happy b-day he had alredy had two!... is it just me or what?
