you have? For instance I think having a pair of mated Siberian tigers would be great.
Of course some of you; you know who you are; would probably enjoy a couple of Komodo Dragons?

I guess I would choose that cute little baby chameleon that lives in my bushes outside.

They are so cute and I like to watch them change color and also watch them when that big red bubble pops up.

Got your meaning, Wally. Thanks.

I understand your dilema because a life outside seems more fullfilling and interesting because they have trees, rodents to eat, grass to stalk prey in, etc. However the result is extreme danger. Cars, dogs, fleas, worms, rodents with deseases and attacks from other cats (which is the most common way feline aids is transmitted and that is fatal). You cat may have a "wild" life outdoors but it will be very short and likely deseased. It is up to you as an owner to protect the cat from what it can not protect itself (think of a child playing in the streets....they may want to do it, but you're not going to let them). Indoor cats are healthier and happier in the long run. Use a cat scratching post, get cat toys and a companion for your cat if you are away for many hours a day. Your cat won't know what she is missing out on and he/she will have all your love and attention for a decade or more to come.

lizards, a house and yard full of beautiful lizards, the colourful geckos, the little atoles (sp?) I love them - my little geck had tourquoise eyes, he was a beautiful almost flourescent lime green with orange spots and the cutest sweetest little black toes - he was a work of art all by himself -- until he go out and the cat buried him in the litter box - I cried off and on for a very long time ---

I would like some of those big white birds from OZ but clearly having those and lizards would be a bad match, so the lizards would win --

I hear komodo's can be aggressive and mean and have a bad attitude. Beavers? kiss your furniture goodbye, gee chip you should come to Canada for a visit

Ok Wally: Is this some kind of psychological test? I guess I flunk it right here cause I love rats. Not the wild kind, but the domesticated ones.
Ever since my son was about 13, back in the last century, he had a pet rat called Franklin and I really loved that rat.
It stayed on my shoulder all
the time, as I cleaned house
and whatever...and No, it didn't doodoo on my back.
It was very festidious. I can't
remember what happened to
him.

I would like to have a couple of penguins. The Adelie kind.
They are just the right size for a small home. They are cute,
intelligent and they waddle in such an amusing way. They
are also harmless and loving. I have always liked penguins,
and March of the Penguins and Happy Feet were two of the
best movies I have ever seen that really gives insight into
their characters.

I love big cats
I worked at a private zoo when I was about 19. I was in charge of feeding the tigers and caring for three monkeys. There was Bonnie( the mother), Clyde(the father) and Rosie(the baby) I dressed them in overalls and used to jump on the trampoline with them.
My girl friend got a little to close to a panther and he took a chunk out of her arm, we had to rush her to the hospital.
Never hand feed a black panther!!!
I had two baby tigers in the house, they were approx 2 to 3 months old. When they purred, it rattled the glass in the windows. They would get under the couch and play with your feet, it would often draw blood.
I finally left because the owner was killing off the tamer tigers and making rugs out of them.
He would shot them up with Valium, then shot them with a shot of nicotine, it would stop their hearts.

I think at this time in life, many of the exotics would be to unruly for me to manage.
I'm not as tough as I was once.
So I'll have to say a Dolphin, that way I could swim with him/her and grab their fin and let them pull me around:~)

Real Fire Breathing Dragons, especially in the Winter to melt the ice on the sidewalk, a troop of squirrel monkeys to entertain the parrots and clean up after them, male Silver back Gorilla to intimidate the youngest know-it-all-son---who takes after his Mother.

Not fond of pets. Have enough to do to take care of myself! But I recently played with a Chameleon who was the cutest thing. I never knew they could have so much personality. I also enjoy snakes-but I don't think I could do the "feed them live animals" part.

I wouldn't want it to be captured as a pet, but if I could go where they live I'd have a couple of Jaguars. Love the cats and the car!

I'll take a bronze dragon for my pet. =)

Lady G. Just how big are these cats? A saber tooth tiger would just be a mouthful for a dragon!

A sugar glider. They are a marsupial from Australia. They bark like a dog, purr like a cat and are delightful if you take time to work with them. I've had two.
