What do you know - its supposed to rain today. Do you think this could be an answer to prayer, or do you think they waited to pray as a group until the forecast showed rain?

To me they’re as obvious as an elephant in the lounge room. I mean, the horrors of the indoctrination process they use on their children, the tenet of attempting to convert people to the same Christian delusions, the moronic attacks on scientific progress…there are so many more and all of them are blatant manipulation methods but so many Christians seem completely clueless about it. They just muddle along, doing as their told, without even the courage to mentally question what they are told is true let alone to verbally question it. Is it possible for people to be so deep within a delusion that they can never be successfully rehabilitated?

1) Do you think modern Christianity is being helped or hurt by it's past actions?

2) Do you think modern Christianity is being helped or hurt by it's current actions?

(Note: When I speak of Christianity, I mean the religion in ALL parts of the world, as a whole, not just in a specific country)

is a point chritians peddle all the time.
do they even understand the book they base their life on?
Jesus said.....

1) “For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:18-19 RSV) Clearly the Old Testament is to be abided by until the end of human existence itself. None other then Jesus said so.

2) All of the vicious Old Testament laws will be binding forever. "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17 NAB)
Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. He hasn’t the slightest objection to the cruelties of the Old Testament.

first of all, I'm not good at English.

but I'm really eager to know answer for this question.

A few days ago, I heard that a certain character who is in English game pronounced Che /sh/ not /ch/. (for Che Guevara)

Is there any special reason?

I think I heard that although 'che' is prnounced /ch/ in Spanish, Che Guevara is called /sh/e Guevara by people for some reason. Is that true? Or /sh/ is just wrong pronunciation?

Literally for 1000's of years the churches clutches on society has held back mankind. Can imagine if kepler, galileo, and other great minds weren't persecuted and banished for being right? Think how many great thoughts over the thousands of years men and women have had, but had to remain silent. Or if they did speak their mind these people were banished from towns or even sentenced to jail or death.

Mankind is literally just getting rolling with technology and science. The world would be totally different. Probabaly be much more peaceful too, but that is another subject.

I just dont get it... Why are your views more important than others. See, honestly, In the ten commandments say; numer one-
AM THE LORD THY GOD, THOU SHALT NOT HAVE strange gods BEFORE ME.

"Idolizing material images to the point they are held in superstition, and as men would suspect, suppose, determine 'The Creator of All Things' would be like; such as idols of human form or animal likeness also.

Eliminating the Mystery of a Divine Being that no man can touch, see or feel. Replacing this Mystery with physical means and emphasis put on knowledge and man's own senses.

Interpreting God to fit a manner, mood and way, making Him humanly understandable rather than Divine."
Yet it also says NOT TO JUDGE becuase all those who judge will have to answer to the LORD, Ive been to church, its gossip central too, sin?.Judgeing something/someone is against your religion so why do you do it , on here as well as in life.. This will probly be reported but whatever, im making a statement.

Why do you hate people. What is the point of listening to a book that was just written by men to control others? Shellfish is also a sin, do you spend as much time hating shellfish eaters? If you want proof that the bible is wrong, just look at the dinosaur bones in your local museum, the earth is not 6,000 years old.

Rom 2:22
22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
(KJV)

Eph 5:5-6
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
(KJV)

Rev 22:14-15
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
(KJV)

Idolatry is one of the worst Sins in the Bible. God absolutely abhors it. Yet the Catholic Church thrives on Idolatry.

Do you see the contradiction. I am not asking you to join my church or agree with me. Study the scriptures!

Alpha and Omega: To whom does this title properly belong? (1) At Revelation 1:8, its owner is said to be God, the Almighty. In verse 11 according to KJ, that title is applied to one whose description thereafter shows him to be Jesus Christ. But scholars recognize the reference to Alpha and Omega in verse 11 to be spurious, and so it does not appear in RS, NE, JB, NAB, Dy. (2) Many translations of Revelation into Hebrew recognize that the one described in verse 8 is Jehovah, and so they restore the personal name of God there. See NW, 1984 Reference edition. (3) Revelation 21:6, 7 indicates that Christians who are spiritual conquerors are to be ‘sons’ of the one known as the Alpha and the Omega. That is never said of the relationship of spirit-anointed Christians to Jesus Christ. Jesus spoke of them as his ‘brothers.’ (Heb. 2:11; Matt. 12:50; 25:40) But those ‘brothers’ of Jesus are referred to as “sons of God.” (Gal. 3:26; 4:6) (4) At Revelation 22:12, TEV inserts the name Jesus, so the

A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession."
Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, "Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us."
He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."
The woman came and knelt before him. "Lord, help me!" she said.
He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs."
(Matthew 15:22-26)

Isn't Jesus too cold here????

Please DON'T mention the rest of the story, because I could NEVER be as persistent as she was!
If I were in her shoes, I would have given up on Him and the daughter would have died...
