Hello Robert, I think I know what you are talking about. I have been through alot of trauma in my life also. But when I drew closer to God, it just seemed that my problems seemed so much easier. Prayer is most powerful, it helps in ways that you could not even imagine. It helped me alot. I will pray for you and good luck in all you do. GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see a therapist, and she also helps. But prayer is the best answer. I needed all the help I could get. I hope you get well soon, Robert. God Bless you and everyone.

Dearest Robert,
I just lift you up in prayer--that the Lord surround you and keep you in the power of His might and His great mercy and love are made so very real to you--that you feel His presence and guidance through this difficult journey you are beginning.
Take these things in small, "baby steps"--No need to cover all abuse that has ever occurred in the first hour! Be patient with yourself and the process. Be encouraged that sometimes (not always but just sometimes) you may have to look around for a good counselor that really fits your needs and your personality.
Remember, you need a safe environment for healing--and an experienced christian counselor who has previously dealt with the issues you need to face may be your best chance at healing.
Keep up the good work and do not overwhelm yourself with major expectations. Healing from trauma--well, traumas didn't happen all in one day (usually) and they aren't going to go away or be processed in just one day either.
I guess I am emphasizing patience because I don't want you to burn yourself on trying to get well quickly. There are usually layers of things to face and it is simply one small step at a time and an occassional big leap.
(I pray for you to have the patience to go through the process of healing. That the LORD place the balm of gilead upon your emotions so you may be healed completely in your mind, will and emotions in Jesus name. That God lead your footsteps to the exact counselor that you need to help you and that you know that God loves you and accepts you exactly where you are at.)

Hi Robert,
I will pray for you to be able to talk through things and that
you will have a way to find peace. The fact that you believe in God will be a strength to you. Put Him first always in your life, and He promises to give you all that you need. (Matt. 6:33)
Stay focused and would like to hear how it goes ok?
Email anytime.

I'm not going to pray for you, so I'll give you support the only way I can.
I wish you the best. I sincerely hope that things look up for you and that you are able to live the life you've hoped for again. Much love from all the Internets.

I will agree in prayer that you are healed of trauma that may even go back to infancy. God knows you through & through & knows your deepest trauma. So? Just give them to the Lord in prayer as they come to mind. And the fear associated give to the Lord. Jesus is also our Great Counselor.
Cast all your cares & fears to Him, for He careth for you. God sent His Word & healed us from all our brokenness.

Yes, Robert, I will pray for you, not only for your first visit, but for any subsequent visits you will have to make. Just remember to be completely honest, don't hold anything back, no matter how painful it is for you to talk about it. God bless you too, Robert!!!
Lovingly,
Virginia

Of course. I pray that God will use your doctor to heal the mental anguish you are experiencing and that He will use it to strengthen you and prepare you for your future.
