This is not a religious bashing question...

Ok, so I know that most Christians, among a few other religions believe in the Armageddon...
And that it is going to happen within the next few centuries...
Along with the Second Coming, and the Bowl Judgements

But what if several centuries from now, or milleniums even... what if he doesnt come?
Will you still believe? Will you still have faith in your religions?

Not that it is proof against a GOD, but it just goes to show that Humanity can be wrong at many times in their reign...

I am an Athiest, but I just wondered what your thoughts are on this situation...

Riding in the car with my sister, I looked down at my arm, thought of the trillion cells working together to make up my arm. I thought about my brain and my mind and thought, I am too sophisticated to just have come from the evolution. My mind and body works too well for me to have come primordial soup, or whatever they are coming up with now. It just does not make sense. I announced that to my sister, I said, "I don't think we came from monkeys." She answered with, "Well that settles that." And you know what? It does. I don't see how anyone can think that we came up from little micro organisms to fish to whatever. I also really don't any point or argument that can make me change my mind. It just seems so obvious. Who else feels this way?

Does one exist? I have seen a bunch of questions on here saying how evil the Talmud is and the bad things it says about JC.

Well, news flashes to those ignorant people who take quotes out of the Talmud to try to demonize Judaism--you are wrong.

The Talmud doesn't even mention JC. It mentions a man named Yeshu who some people misinterpret to think JC but who is in actuality a different person altogether.

Jews as young kids are not taught anything about JC, he is not bastardized. Because he is not important to our religion, we aren't taught anything about him.

This question is for everyone: what quotes do there exist in your religion that people try to take out of context to bash or use your religion to their gains?

When people ask coy questions about Christianity, why do you respond with such vitriol and disgust? Don't you realize how retarded that is? Do you think God needs you to protect his feelings? You should respond in a counter-intelligent way, at the very least. Or, you know, if you don't have a lot of time...you could lightly poke fun at their logic. Jeez! Not slamming you at all just asking for clarification.
I was having a conversation with somebody recently , a Catholic acquaintance , and while speaking I referred to both of us as Christians and that person corrected me and said they prefer to be call Catholic not Christian. I thought Catholics are Christians and that the term Christian includes all those who profess Jesus Christ as their Savior, regardless of denomination. I am a Protestant so I have never really heard this. Can you please explain this to me? Thank you.

i saw a documentary about catholic priests,and in the documentary a statistic was made and it turned out that 10,000 catholic priests molest about a 100,000 kids every year.and the only thing the vatican does about most cases is to relocate the priests to another church,suspension only comes if the story breaks out to the media.
i mean if the vatican would try to cover up on such things only god knows what else is there right?

im just asking for opinions now,i wish i could get real answers from the vatican it self. but i really think they should step up and address such issues accordingly.
