Riding in the car with my sister, I looked down at my arm, thought of the trillion cells working together to make up my arm. I thought about my brain and my mind and thought, I am too sophisticated to just have come from the evolution. My mind and body works too well for me to have come primordial soup, or whatever they are coming up with now. It just does not make sense. I announced that to my sister, I said, "I don't think we came from monkeys." She answered with, "Well that settles that." And you know what? It does. I don't see how anyone can think that we came up from little micro organisms to fish to whatever. I also really don't any point or argument that can make me change my mind. It just seems so obvious. Who else feels this way?

The fact that you don't want to believe that humans evolved probably keeps you from learning about evolution. The reason your constituent parts work so well together is that they evolved to work together. Of course, there are parts of us that don't work all that well, or are leftovers. For instance, the human eye has a blind spot, but not all animals have this, so the human eye is inferior to others. We have the remnants of tails, and some humans are still born with tails -- leftovers.
You can choose to live in ignorance, or you can choose to learn. I find things to be much more fascinating when I understand them.

This child is a little naive, but better for him to be saved and go to heaven than to understand evolutionary biology.
Original poster: remember that in order to be saved, you MUST accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, and believe in Him with all your heart, mind, and spirit. If you haven't done this yet (if you can't remember the time and the place), then do it TODAY. If the End Times come tomorrow, I don't want you going to hell just because you didn't know how to be saved.

You know, I believe in evolution and don't believe we came from monkeys either, but that's because I actually have an understanding of Biology.

The theory doesn't suggest it happened overnight. Please don't be confused that it does.
Both concepts completely explain why we have a trillion cells in our body. So please do not use the argument "I am too sophisticated to just have come from evolution."
It's fine if that's what you think. There are several gray areas in the theory of Evolution. Use those if you want to disprove it.

I believe it is amazing, but I believe we evolved. Science doesn't "come up with" things. It developes highly complex theories after many trial and error situations. It is not human, it is a process, therefor, it has no bias. It has no reason to lie.
If you care to devote several years of your life to the subject perhaps you will understand how this process actually does "prove" evolution, as much as anything can be proven, and certainly moreso than any God can be proven.

I feel the same way there’s no way we came from monkeys! Until now the apes and monkeys did not evolve at all! Science sometimes has its way in making excuses.

Sooooo....you don't really have a good understanding of evolution, but it's your opinion that it doesn't make sense, and therefore it must be true? Is that how you make all your decisions? "it just does not make sense" or you just don't know what the hell you're talking about?
I don't need to make any attempts to change the minds of people who fight so hard against objective reality....it's a waste of time. Imagine trying to explain meteorology to somebody with the middle-age mindset that thunderstorms were satan and god doing battle. Do you think the concept of weather patterns would make sense to them? Does that make them any more correct, or the scientific process and simple reality any more incorrect?

i definitly feel that way all the time sometimes i just sit and look at my arm or toes or anything and just wonder how awesome it is that they all work together and how could we come from monkeys that is really disrespectful i think. But sometime i wonder if black people came from monkeys because they have a lot of there characteristics. but not to be mean just because it's weird

Yeah, I feel the same way. There's no way evolution can explain everything. By the way, that was a great way of phrasing it!
