Adam fell that men might be. We would not exist if it were not for Adam and Eve's sin. They did not know good from evil, happiness from sadness. It was necessary for the sin to occur, and God made a plan to bring about salvation through Jesus Christ, the atonement, and the repentance process.
In Jesus's life he valued children greatly and advised us to become as little children-- humble and submissive to our heavenly father. Newborns are not innately evil. We are all children of god. I prefer the saying "I am not an earthly being having a spiritual experience but rather a spiritual being having an earthly experience." We are not to suffer for Adam's sins but our own.

you're perplexed considering the fact which you maximum in all probability think of that sin is an action ~ something which you do. yet sin originated whilst Adam and Eve disobeyed God. They have been adversely affected by utilising it, and so have been all of their offspring. considering the fact that babies can not "do" something, human beings presume them to be harmless, and not responsible of sin. even nonetheless sin isn't detectable under a microscope, it rather is in our makeup ~ our DNA in case you will. it rather is impossible for sinful human beings to offer a sinless infant. it rather is the reason the virgin start of Christ is so important. He ought to not have been sinless if he develop into conceived certainly.each guy or woman on planet earth is born a sinner and that they die a sinner, yet some human beings have got here across forgiveness in Christ.

We do not carry original sin except that which you carry yourself from other lifetimes. It is called Karma. You are here to be repaid. What goes around comes around.
If you want to believe in original sin being carried forth, you may but Abraham sacrifice his son and was told not to because of his firm belief. That act of obedience canceled the original sin of Adam. The second Adam took on the sins of the world from that time forth. Now if you don't believe that Jesus took all sins, then maybe you want to accept Adams sin. I don't. I am responsible and will answer for my own and then will be forgive by the act of Christ for them. But I will still have to look at my book of life and regret my sins as they flash before my eyes. The question is can I forgive myself.

My Goodness! The Bible does not teach that !New born babies are not Heathens! Jesus said that whosoever offends one of my little ones may as well have a milestone tied around his neck and cast into the sea!

Because of the original sin, all men are liable to sin. No one is righteous (see Romans 1-2) but Jesus already won over this through the cross so any man can now be right with God through Him.
The answer to your question is NO. Babies are not evil, they are inocent. They are still before the age of accountability meaning they still don't know what is right & wrong and therefore not accountable for their actions. They just act on instinct regardless of what everyone comments on their naughtiness.
That is why, children who dies before the age of accountability goes straight to heaven.
Luke 18:15-17 says, "And they were bringing even their babies to Him so that He would touch them, but when the disciples saw it, they began rebuking them.
16But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
17"Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all."

The concept of Orignal Sin is a precept of Man, not scripturally based.
Deut 24:16 Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin.
A person should note that the concept of Original Sin was penned by Augustine, a self proclaimed, recovering sex addict.
Some notes from History...
418CE African Bishop Alypius offers bribe of 80 Numidian stallions for church to accept Augustine's doctrine of original sin into its teachings.
418CE Augustine's doctrine of original sin is accepted along with his teaching that anyone who does not choose to follow Christ is damned for all eternity.

baby humans are simply demanding little animals. they live entirely on instinct. "sin" is when they fail to domesticate fast enough or properly enough to suit society. when Christians preach about "sin nature" what they really mean is base animal instinct that must be discouraged, trained and controlled.
fear, shame and guilt are the tools most often used in domesticating a human child but beatings are often employed as well.

No, but they are born separated from God's grace, due to the eternal and supernatural consequences of our first parent's original bad choice.
If your dad and mom were billionaires, they allowed themselves to be swindled out of their fortune, and then they were subsequently sent to jail for life sentences, your outcome would change too, and so would the outcomes of many generations to come.
Ditto for those affected by original sin ... and that includes the entire human race ... except for Jesus ... who is from eternity, totally without sin ... because he is also God.

Oh, yes indeedy. They are wicked sinners just waiting for the opportunity to exercise their depravity.
I speak from experience, I have three 15 month olds, and I see their little sinful (albeit incredibly cute) hearts. No one taught them to be selfish, or to lie or steal from their sibling - it is quite ingrained in their fallen nature.

Evil? Not exactly. But we are all born predisposed to sin. It certainly manifests itself, say around the age of two.
