When people ask coy questions about Christianity, why do you respond with such vitriol and disgust? Don't you realize how retarded that is? Do you think God needs you to protect his feelings? You should respond in a counter-intelligent way, at the very least. Or, you know, if you don't have a lot of time...you could lightly poke fun at their logic. Jeez! I'm tired of seeing mean hatefull Christian responses. your giving Christ a bad name.

wow. I am sorely dissappointed to hear at least half of the "christian" responses to this post. Don't you understand that 'one' reason people are talking negative about Christianity is because of self-rightious, stubborn jackasses like you. yeah, all bets are off. I'm gonna start nailing you people to the wall.

Although wrong, maybe the response is in the same vane as the question and remarks made. Kind of like--what comes around goes around. If a person makes snide, degrading, foul statements about someone you love, do you respond in a defending, protective, and equal manner? I think most people do. I'm' not saying that that is the proper way to react, but it's human instinct. Do you not see insulting, coy answers given by Atheist, etc.on this form aimed at Christians? I have.

Is this suppose to be an example of a loving response?

First of all using the term retarded in this day and age is pretty disgusting.

Second,
Many times questions are asked specifically meant to poke fun at christian beliefs and if that is the case then I say all bets are off.
Most people dont freak out if the question is sincere and respectful.

First of all, i totally DISAGREE with 'Siltar the Aqua'...whoever you are, CHRIST DOES CARE ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THINK!!! that's part reason he came to earth!

and second of all, people respond with such aggressiveness to those types of questions because they take it as an offense. its like a punch in the guts for them and they feel the need to punch back.
most of the time they dont realize how 'retarded' they are because they are defending their beliefs of which they have a right to. although i must agree that it is pretty stupid to bite back when usually its a pretty genuine question.

Peace Out!

Why are you making a generalization? not everyone does that. When people ask coy questions Satan is twisting the truth and putting the questions in their minds. We don't respond with disgust. We just make a bold point and we're not rude about it. Don't focus on the negativity but on the positivity. GOD BLESS YOU!

No question is vitriol and disguest or offensive.A question is a question. If it is about religion, the believer must explained and answer if he can,if he can and refused to answer. It is an offence.
Do not hope that God will answer to your prayer.God did what you did to others.God forgive you as you forgive others.Do good deed ,get good retribution.Action reaction force.May God Bless you as alike you bless me.

I agree that I have been a bit snotty on this site and you are right - it is retarded and it is giving Christianity a bad name. Thank you for pointing that out. Some of us get very testy when dealing with snide remarks and need to stop it.

Christ saves sinners, so we do nothing but prove our need.

I don't mind "coy" questions, but if someone is outright blasphemous or condescending .... why should I be a doormat?

I call the idiots as I see them, and the good questions the same.

you say "coy" but perhaps there are those who feel that most of those "coy" questions are only asked to make fun of our GOD whom we revere.
Anyway those type of questions, if they could be called that, are not worth the powder it would take to blow them away but it is wrong to trivialize the act of mocking GOD. I can't help but rise to defend my FATHER even though HE does not need my help. I love HIM so I am not going to be too quick to let an attack go unanswered...I'm that way with my earthly family too...aren't you?

I love everyone no matter what they say.
Jesus said if you cant love your fellow man then How can you love God.
I know someone that is in power that never said the Beautiful Name Jesus the Name above all names.I know Jesus.I love Jesus.I would be ashamed to call Him Christ.Maybe Jesus Christ but not Christ.Because that shows no personal relationship. That would be like calling your husband by his last name.Like an army seargent would. When I just say the name JESUS my heart melts like butter
