Can anyone tell me what happened to the Circle of Rain website? They gave out little certificates in spiritualism, for tarot advisor, etc. Are there any other low-cost websites out there right now for those things?

this argument is to be totally logical, no religious theories. If Jesus was god, then how can he be his own son. Why would he sacrifice himself to save people he could've saved without all the drama. I mean if he could say let there be light and there was light, then why could he not wish these people sinless. Why would god do such a thing anyway? That would defeat the purpose of sins itself. Logically, if u do something bad,and there is a set punishment, someone cannot do the time for you. You are bound to do that time. Secondly, he was born human, meaning 23 chromosomes from mom, 23 chromosomes from dad. So if this is true than where did the father's 23 chromosomes come from. seeing how god doesnt posses chromosomes. If god created them, then jesus cannot legibly be the son of god. If those chromosomes are of god himself, then god isnt the all powerful being we are told he is, he is human. So this entire thing is wierd and i know people will bring religious vodoo into this, so dont.

I would imagine his reasoning is along the lines of,

"we have no homosexuals in Iran."

"Excuse me sir, but I am ---" BANG BANG BANG

"NO homosexuals in Iran."

I have often wondered why tyrants tend to terrified of homosexuals.......Hitler was scared poopless of them as well.

I wear my nice automic watch $200USD retail. I wear it while in sheet metal shop. I use a pnematic powered hammar. It vibrates my watch a lot while it's on my wrist. I think this wears out the watch movement faster but I'm not a watch expert. Will my occupation void the warrantee?

Is it OK for me to use the watch in this manner?

I was trying very hard to describe some women who were of the very same heritage that I am.(I am half Jewish by family only..I was NOT raised to be Jewish..and my mom is not Jewish..but, I still believe myself to be Jewish anyways, despite the fact that I will never be recognised as such!)
But, anyhow,, I used to work at a Jewish community center..and I over heard several Jewish women(mostly parents) talking about me...(I believe they were) that I should NOT be teaching and or helping out in the Jewish preschool..that they should have people who are ALL Jewish that teach there.. instead!!! (incidently, there were other women and men who were NOT Jewish at all, and they taught there,,and were quite good!)
anyhow, I felt really insulted and it hurt me..and I said something about this on some racial boards.and pretty soon, two Jewish women got really really angry with me..and told me that I was anti-semitic by me just describing what the women were..so was I?
Help!!

this sutra "may be reproduced free forever."

Once in the Jurassic, about 150 million years ago,
the Great Sun Buddha in this corner of the infinite
Void gave a great Discourse to all the assembled elements
and energies: to the standing beings, the alking beings,
the flying beings, and the sitting beings
--even grasses, to the number of thirteen billion, each one born from a
seed, assembled there: a Discourse concerning
Enlightenment on the planet Earth.

"In some future time, there will be a continent called
America. It will have great centers of power called such as
Pyramid Lake, Walden Pond, Mt. Rainier, Big Sur,
Everglades, and so forth; and powerful nerves and channels
such as Columbia River, Mississippi River, and Grand Canyon.
The human race in that era will get into troubles all over
its head, and practically wreck everything in spite of its own strong
intelligentBuddha-nature."

"The Twisting strata of the great mountains and the pulsings
of great volcanoes are my love burning deep in the earth.
My obstinate compassion is schist and basalt and
granite, to be mountains, to bring down the rain. In that
future American Era I shall enter a new form: to cure
the world of loveless knowledge that seeks with blind hunger;
and mindless rage eating food that will not fill it."

And he showed himself in his true form of

SMOKEY THE BEAR.

A handsome smokey-colored brown bear standing on hishind legs, showing that he is aroused and watchful.

Bearing in his right paw the Shovel that digs to thetruth beneath appearances; cuts the root of useless attachments,
and flings damp sand on the fires of greed and war;

His left paw in the Mudra of Comradely Display -- indicating thatall creatures
have the full right to live to their limits
and that deer, rabbits, chipmunks, snakes, dandelions,
and lizard all grow in the realm of the Dharma;

Wearing the blue work overalls symbolic of slaves andlaborers, the countless men oppressed by a civilization
that claims to save but only destroys;

Wearing the broad-brimmed hat of the West, symbolic ofthe forces that guard the Wildereness, which is the Natural
State of the Dharma and the True Path of man on earth;
all true paths lead through mountains --

With a halo of smoke and flame behind, the forest firesof the kali-yuga, fires caused by the stupidity of those
who think things can ge gained and lost whereas in truth all is contained
vast andfree in the Blue Sky and Green Earth
of One Mind;

Round-bellied to show his kind nature and that the greatearth has food enough for everyone who loves her and trusts
her;

Trampling underfoot wasteful freeways and needlesssuburbs; smashing the worms of capitalism and totalitarianism;

Indicating the Task: his followers, becoming free of cars,houses, canned food, universities, and shoes, master the
Three Mysteries of their own Body, Speech, and Mind; and
fearlessly chop down the rotten trees and prune out the sick limbs of this
country
America and then burn the leftover
trash.

Wrathful but Calm, Austere but Comic, Smokey the Bear will
Illuminate those who would help him; but for those who would
hinder or slander him,

HE WILL PUT THEM OUT.

Thus his great Mantra:

Namah samanta vajranam chanda maharoshana
Sphataya hum traka ham mam

"I DEDICATE MYSELF TO THE UNIVERSAL DIAMOND
BE THIS RAGING FURY DESTROYED"

And he will protect those who love woods and rivers,
Gods and animals, hobos and madmen, prisoners and sick
people, musicians, playful women, and hopeful children;

And if anyone is threatened by advertising, air pollution,
or the police, they should chant SMOKEY THE BEAR'S WAR SPELL:

DROWN THEIR BUTTS
CRUSH THEIR BUTTS
DROWN THEIR BUTTS
CRUSH THEIR BUTTS

And SMOKEY THE BEAR will surely appear to put the enemy out
with his vajra-shovel.

Now those who recite this Sutra and then try to put it in
practice will accumulate merit as countless as the sands
of Arizona and Nevada,Will help save the planet Earth from total oil slick,
Will enter the age of harmony of man and nature,
Will win the tender love and caresses of men, women, and
beastsWill always have ripe blackberries to eat and a sunny spot
under a pine tree to sit at,
AND IN THE END WILL WIN HIGHEST PERFECT ENLIGHTENMENT.

thus have we heard.

My Ex Husband today picks up my son! He decides he's gonna check on my son's 2 month old sea monkies. Instead of squatting down (he has no physical handicaps) to the level of the tank he decides to pick it up. In the process somehow he ends up dropping the tank. Sea Monkies and water goes all over my table including bathing my cell phone. I took my phone apart immediately and dried it off as best as I could. I told mark to take my son who was crushed and horrified to "Take your son and leave right now!" I was very upset.

After placing the cell phone on the heating block at the VA in the lab (which only gets to body tempature), and using a can of air on it. We've determined that its truely and utterly ruined.

Am I wrong for holding him responsible in replacing my cell phone? I do not have another phone line.

And I've started regrowing my 7 years sea monkies.

So my dad has an old LP of Abbey Road, which I listened to death when I was little. Of course, now is the day of the mp3 player, so I wanted to put music on my little iPod. Of course I would want Abbey Road on there, but I can't exactly put an LP on iTunes. So I went to the library, checked out the CD of Abbey Road, and uploaded it to my computer then onto my iPod, then gave it back to the library.

Considering I already owned the LP, which my father payed for, is it ethical to take the mp3's without paying for them all over again? I'm pretty sure apple records doesn't really miss the $14 or so i would have payed for the CD, but I am still wondering. Your guyses thoughts?

When a Christian condemns the behavior of someone, are they implying that they (the Christian) has impunity?
For whatever reason, a Christian might feel like condemning someone and turning people against them to make themselves look better.
When they do this, are the Christians implying that they themselves are somehow immune from this judgment and public condemnation or even innocent of the charges they're accusing someone of just because they are labeled Christian?
Are they not subject to these rules that they impose on everyone else?

Look at these photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/culturesubculture/1451162782/

Is this guy saying that he and other Christians don't do the things on his sign, or is he speaking for Christianity and saying that he DOES do these things but it's ok since he's Christian?

Isn't a Christian simply one who believes in Christ? Which would make Catholics eligible for the title, right? So why do some Christians think that Catholics are not in fact really Christians?

this is something that's always puzzled me, as my grandmother was one of those Christians who do not believe that Catholics are in fact Christian as well. Her problem with Catholicism was that Catholics pray to Mary as well, is that the only reason, or is there more to it?

...And why, 2000 years after His death, does He continue to exert such enormous influence on our world?

People are dying everyday, lots of people. Jesus was just another human being, was he not?

There are many others in this world who die for noble causes too, but I do not recall anyone worshipping them and getting into crusades, and large conflicts over it.

I hear people say 'he was the son of God'. Yes to some that seems true, but are we not all God's children? If there is such a thing as 'god'...

At the time of jesus, it was common for people to get crucified, and I mean is there any scientific evidence that PROVES he was resurrected? What makes you think he is coming back? I don't see how that is physically possible, do those little skin cells -living organisms!- do they go to heaven too when they die??

Not trying to offend anyone, but can I get some more information on this? I don't understand it.
