Someone just answered one of my questions by saying "there is more evidence that there is a God then for evolution!! Plain and simple. I believe in the facts Sorry truth hurts I guess". I would like whomever is hiding all this evidence to come forward and share it with the rest of us please.

Batgirl: I was being facetious. I know that there's no proof that god exists. I don't know where you got that I'm trying to make people believe as I do from this question. And no, I'm not new here.

Batgirl: I didn't say "the truth hurts". If you had actually read the question, you would see that this was part of the quote in my question from another user. That person said "the truth hurts".

They cannot prove it because it is very difficult to prove something that only happens inside their heads.
They use the Bible, the book of fairytales, to explain EVERYTHING and they believe it like a child believes in Santa.
They are victims of their own ignorance and we should treat them as such, victims.

Well, I could go on and on but I will mention a few things. One is old testament prophecy fulfilled Isaiah 53 and several in Daniel just to get started. There is an incredible "time factor" in the prophecies in the book of Daniel. Other books such as Isaiah and Jeremiah say the messiah is coming. The book of Daniel says when and the prophecies point to the Roman Empire and that is when Jesus came.
Also, to be honest I have just as many questions as everyone else about the first 2 chapters of Genesis. I can't explain it all. However, the Bible is incredible historically accurate other places that I very much understand. There have been many discoveries in archeology that have been amazing, The Moabite Stone, The Taylor Prism, The Cyrus Cylinder, and The reference found to King David in the early 1990's.
Then there is answered prayer and miracles. I know if you don't go to church and are not connected with christians, it is easy to say "what miracles". But actually there are so many christians with incredible stories about how God healed them. Marilyn Ford, Wendy Moore, Marlene Klepees and others. It is a hidden world. Just as the world of gangs is probably happening very near me but I have NO idea of their ways, rules, traditions. So it can be with the spirit world there can be so much going on but if you are not plugged into that you can say "what evidence, you are crazy". Hope that helps
I guess I will say one last thing although I doubt my answers ever truly help anybody and I need to stop coming to Yahoo answers at all. I have spent so many hours with my head in a book in some library studying this stuff out. I very firmly know why I believe what I believe (while admitting there are some unanswerable/difficult questions). I would not trade the things I gained from digging in there and seeing stuff for myself. I wish you the same.

The barber then said,"See, if God was really there, everything ought to be fine, but you see....". Still the man smiled and after walking a few steps, they came across a man sitting on the pavement. He had a dirty unshaven beard which badly needed a shave. The man then asked the barber,"If you are there then why is this man so unshaven". The barber looked somewhat agitated and he replied," Heh....how can I go around shaving people's beards, they have to come to me and then only I can help".

Somewhere in the New Testament, it says "It is a wicked and perverse generation who seeks a sign." That person was, obviously, incorrect. There is no proof to show. That's the point. we need to believe in God with out hearts. Not our eyes. Small miracles, not statistics.
In any case, I'd rather live like there was a God and die to find out there wasn't, then live like there wasn't a God and die to find out there was.

Hi, you must have just joined. There IS no proof or concrete evidence.
You don't have the spirit of God in you, so of course none of it makes sense to you.
God exists, IMO. I believe it. He is my reality.
He is not yours. I don't ask you for proof. Why do you ask me?

Do you REALLY need for me to tell you? It doesn't concern you, does it?

You're not ready to know. Closing off your mind and over analyzing will not help you. Open yourself to the possibility that God may exist. Then begin to pray. Sometimes God gives answers in subtle ways which can be easily overlooked if you're not paying attention or listening within. This is the only advice I can give you.

Look at DNA. The genetic code of life could not have evolved. If you picked up a blueprint for a spaceship, wouldn't you believe that it had a designer? How could the blueprint for life not have a Designer?
