True . A picture is just giving you a glimps of their lives. I don't think they would post themselves yelling at someone cause it would make them look less appealing.

Most Americans (of all age groups) tend to be "fake" on the outside. Happiness has become so overlooked in our society. We are more worried about money and success, and it is all very sad. The emphasis on these superficial things leads to depression, especially in young adults. Being young comes along with its own natural problems associated with growing up (puberty, becoming independent, etc. etc.). This, along with the problems our society as a whole faces lead to widespread falsity - everyone putting on a happy face in public but dealing with the harsh reality of life on the inside. If we could learn to be more vocal, more compassionate, and more honest with ourselves and others of our problems we could all be happier. Hope this helps! Spread the word and make life better for us all!

I am just as lonely, depressed and miserable as advertise and I'm 21. All that myspace junk is simply a way for people to try to be someone they're not.

I know that age is about finding things about yourselves. It is the age where you are looking for something although you can not put a finger on what exactly it is you are looking for.
