Many seem to perceive the same God as being both merciless and merciful, as being both law and grace;
Fear approaching His Grace at his throne of grace,
lest He might be having a law worketh wrath day.

Perhaps there are this/that Gods to sort out,
if there is mention of "that God", "that Spirit".

Perhaps the God on high is the awful lawful God,
and the merciful God is higher than the heavens.

For falling from grace above is said to be fearful,
when falling into law law hands of a God on high.

It seems they also disagree when it comes to "them".
This God concludes them all in unbelief, as sinners all.
That God does not impute their trespasses unto them.

What is your InSight on this/that Gods, and of that God?

Since the British and the Americans both speak English, one would think they would use the same sign language, right?

what would make of the people that pray to an invisible man that watches everything you do from above, and has only 10 rules... and if you break any of the rules you are sent to a place of eternal pain and suffering? ... but he loves you.

First you get down on your knees,
Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Do whatever steps you want, if
You have cleared them with the Pontiff.
Everybody say his own
Kyrie eleison,
Doin' the Vatican Rag.

Get in line in that processional,
Step into that small confessional,
There, the guy who's got religion'll
Tell you if your sin's original.
If it is, try playin' it safer,
Drink the wine and chew the wafer,
Two, four, six, eight,
Time to transubstantiate!

So get down upon your knees,
Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Make a cross on your abdomen,
When in Rome do like a Roman,
Ave Maria,
Gee it's good to see ya,
Gettin' ecstatic an'
Sorta dramatic an'
Doin' the Vatican Rag!

Yeah it's true. It doesn't feel so good to know you've been deceived does it? Do you Mormon haters know how hateful and ignorant you sound when you post things like this?

.. I set the rules in the house and they can set them when we're anywhere outside or in the car? Am I very bad for doing that? If someone has the choice to take me or leave me, if they agree to take me, haven't they agreed to that agreement? I need answers. So, please let me know.

I want to be as general as possible so as not to pick on anyone.
A guy I knew would go to religious services. Immediately after leaving he would go to a massage parlor and have sex. He would then pray for forgiveness. He had been a friend for some time. I got on him about his prayers, saying they were meaningless because he was already planning to repeat the wrongs. I pretty tolerant and compromising saying couldn't he at least wait till the following day to go to the massage parlor? A poor representation of his beliefs. I add I had sympathy as I was aware of mental problems contributing as well. I want to keep this open. He could have been any religion. But this really did happen.

You know, the old argument that atheists are better people because we do good not because we want a reward or we’re afraid of punishment if we do bad but because we use our own judgment to determine right from wrong which is the mark of a more advanced being. But do you think children would be aware of this and compare their parents with the religious parents of their peers?

I forget the difference but sometimes the two are confused. Can you give it in laymen's terms? I am only an armchair philosopher. And if you know why there is such contraversy with TA, I would also like to know. I think it is quite natural to understand there is a God, and that his is the only one.

Then why is everybody busting Dog for saying the same word rappers glorify? I don't get the double standard, as usual I never understand them. Can someone tell me a good reason, besides the one that has something to do with being in that group, it's ok to insult yourself, weak excuse stuff.
