Yeah it's true. It doesn't feel so good to know you've been deceived does it? Do you Mormon haters know how hateful and ignorant you sound when you post things like this?

Did you guys not realize this was a mockery of all the people that say Mormons are going to hell, or did you just skip over that last sentence?

This person brings up a good point. Maybe not worded appropriately and I hope that this was an attempt at sarcasm.

I think that It is inappropriate to mock any religion. Freedom of Religion is what makes this a great country. If you do not believe what the Mormons believe then fine. I wonder sometimes, why some people fight so much against Mormons. I know a few, and they are good people who have never done any wrong to me. However, I am sure that like many religions, there are some who claim to be Mormons but are not good people.
Why is it that for some, they become so animated, angry, and demeaning towards Mormons. If you believe they are wrong, you are entitled to that opinion. That does not make them wrong or bad, just different from you.
In fact that begs the question, what if they are right, and some of us have been misled or misinformed? Since religion cannot be proven and is a matter of faith, is it not possible? I am not say that they are right or wrong just posing a question about the possibility. One can try to prove one way or another with the Bible but the Bible can be contradictory about all religions that use it.
Bottom line, I think that God would have us show love and kindness to all. Do our best to live a Christ like life and just try to be good people. Let Mormons believe what they will. All you do by being demeaning is demonstrate that you are a hypocrite and un-Christlike and alienate Mormons from you.

My longest and most current sexual relationship is with a Mormon! And I'm non-Christian. Boy, do we have issues. But I've been to the studies and hosted elders in the home.

Mormons are kind, close-knit, hard-working and socially conscious people. Calling me a hater isn't in their job description.

If you are truly Mormon, you need to start living your words. Mormons do not mock other religions. They just stand by and wait for those whom seek greater knowledge and truth to ask them for more. Telling me to go to Hell for not being Mormon is more Howard Stern than Brigham Young.

Better break out your Book of Mormon and get those passages about being positive members of the community back in your reading rotation.

You are at least partly right - Being deceived sucks. That's why I try to share the truth.

Adam and Eve were deceived and thought they would be like God also. There is only one God (Isaiah 43:10) and He owns all the heavens (Deuteronomy 10:14), so there is no heaven to be a god of left.

I get your point - I don't hate Mormons though. If I did, I would let them continue to be deceived. Perhaps we need to find a better way to share.

Umm...Wait a minute, did I miss something?? Why would people hate Mormons...or Catholics, or Protestants, Wiccans, or any other "group"?? Seems to me that if people would spend less time being self-righteous and more time trying to do good things, the world might be a better place. I do believe that humans are basically good; and everyone can go to heaven, no matter what religion they choose to believe in. And my honest opinion?? Atheists, just possibly, may have just "opted out" due to all the baloney that believers hand out.

You propose like earning your way out of pergatory - which as I remember is a Catholic perception isn't it? So - NO it is not that we don't think Hell is eternal - it is that we don't call IT HELL in step with se. We have self assurance there are 3 elementary stages of glory or Kingdoms in Heaven ("in my Father's abode are many mansions") Celestial, Terrestial and Telestial - each and each with the honour of the sunlight, Moon & Stars as referenced in New testomony teachings as properly. Outter Darkness is an eternal place of NO GLORY - which might probably be the closest component to HELL - the place the likes of Mass Murderers, and different undesirable and terrible human beings will finally end up... as quickly as we circulate for the time of the suggestions-blowing judgment it isn't any longer my information that any shifting ON UP will happen....

I would like to address your answer about the trinity, the trinity says that the father, his son Jesus and the holy ghost are one and CAN FUNCTION AS SEPERATE BEING, that means your example in another question of Jesus crying to his father on the cross, or Jesus getting babtized when the Holy Ghost showed up, and God voice was heard is an example of THE TRINTIY FUNCTIONING AS SEPERATE PEOPLE, please get to know the trinity before you try to say anything against it, because now YOU HAVE BACKED IT UP WITH SCRIPTURE, thank you so much for you info.
By the way I have 36 years of mormonism in me and was born and raised 15 minutes away from the president of the LDS church. Unfortunatly they liked the use the Journal of Discourses as doctrine, oh well. By the way I use to be punk myself, peace out.

Yes, and everyone that doesn't live their life to the fullest will die regretting the opportunities they didn't take advantage of. Personally, that is MY version of hell, and the only way to avoid it is to be good to other people despite your religious beliefs and enjoy life while you have it.

p.s. I understand the implications of your question, I just have my own definition of hell that isn't tied to a religious belief. I don't think Mormons should be mocked anymore than any other religious belief. They're all equally believable and unbelievable. They all have followers that take them just as seriously as everyone else takes theirs.

God the Father was manifested in Christ. "God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself." So Jesus Christ was not a revelation of Himself but of the Father. Whatever Jesus said or did, it was God the Father doing the works. Jesus never mocked anyone no matter what his beliefs were. He loved all men irrespective of His cast and He did everything to draw all men unto Himself. He did not come into the world to condemn the world but to save the world. His followers will do the same by extolling the merits of a crucified and risen Saviour before all.

This question is not very nice and not accurate. Repentance for mocking others is not limited. All can repent -- any mocking will need to be repented of whether to Mormons or from Mormons.

I don't understand why people make fun of other peoples religions. I also don't understand why some people feel the need to go looking for trouble. Of corse you're going to find people who are mean and angry if you coast them over by putting up stuppid crap like that. Maybe you should practice what you preach.
