It seems to be in the final stages of preparation now. The economic, scholastic, and military intuitions of this world are ruled by the rich and powerful - those who worship after Satan's interests. That is why there is so much war, starvation, crime, etc. It's been done intentionally for the sake of world dominance and greed. James 5:6 - You have condemned and murdered innocent men, who were not opposing you. The great men who make up Babylon the Great is whom all the murders of the world are attributed to.

The purpose of organizations such as G-7, G-8, the UN, Bilderburgs, Club of Rome, WTO, the Papacy, the Environmental Movement, and the EU is for setting up a one world government, religion, and economic structure that the anti-Christ can sit upon. It's been at work for a long time. Now we finally have the technological capabilities to make it happen. Sounds crazy but its called globalization and it's affected people all over the world in a major way.

Countries are being penalized for failing to obey environmental laws. Ever notice when you call about a credit card you can barely translate what's being said to you on the phone? Ever notice what's happening to our jobs? They're no longer ours. They belong to the world economy. Not us anymore. You and I are becoming 'world' citizens.

Revelation speaks of a 'beast' with the authority to rule the earth with an iron fist. The 10 kings - whoever they may be, will give their powers to this beast entity. Much of the world will submit to this power. Because people chose not the truth of God, they will be easily deceived. This was the first and foremost warning by Jesus in Matthew 24 - http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=matt%2024;&version=31; There is so much apostasy in the churches that I've chosen to stay home.

Most of the world's religious structure was built upon by Babylon of the Old Testament. That is why most paganism is based on sun and nature worship. The world is being primed for the formation of a one world religion through the ecumenical movement of the pagan Vatican. Christianity is being given a pagan friendly makeover. Notice what pope Ratzinger said about the other churches. He wasn't just having a bad day. He said it for a reason. What's worse is much of their passive responses. It's called divide and conquer. Paganism is being brought back together.

Strict adherents to the Bible will be persecuted and labeled fundies and rebels. Most of everyone else may accept the mark of the beast and foster worldwide support in perhaps saving the planet and or some other cause. Either way you would like to view it (scientifically or Biblically), the world is on its last leg. It's bound to happen and soon.

The economy running this planet is also interlinked like a non fault tolerant computer network with no backups, UPS, or surge protection. If one part fails it all comes crashing down. It's only a matter of time. There's a lot going on. What's sad is that most people don't even know it. Like cows they're being led to the slaughter.

Yes, there is an Anti-Christ. If you read Thessalonians, Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation you will learn that the Anti-Christ will be a Jew, from the tribe of Dan, he will be single, unmarried, and homosexual. He will not rise out of obscurity until after 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 which prophesies the "catching away" of The Bride=Christians are raptured from the earth.

And yes, I believe Jesus could return for us any minute.
Why?
Biblically and globally-speaking, this is the first time in the history of this Earth that ALL of the Old and New Testament prophesies have been fulfilled, but for the "catching away of His Bride=Christians and then and only then will The Anti-Christ be allowed to enter the world stage and the Great Tribulation will begin.

I see no signs yet. Europe isn't unified enough and the Jews are a long way from getting rid of the Islamic Dome Of The Rock and having their temple restored as predicted; in short the Arab - Israeli conflict and co-ownership or division of Jerusalem has really thrown a wrench into the evolution of this prophecy.

Also there is no great world leader with uncanny psychic abilities, great looks and universal appeal, loved and fooled by all cultures and faiths who is stepping up to the plate or appearing in the picture yet. Therefore if it happens we have a long way to go yet.

Yes as per Islam (Muslims) , the Anti-Christ will come in before the dooms day. Christ will return to the earth to kill the Anti-Christ.
