I think that christmas is a special time and that the gifts are not important being around your loved ones is!

I could just answer giving, which I love giving gifts but also love receiving gifts.
How many of us feel resentful after going to so much trouble buying or making gifts for those who don't give any in return or even give a thankyou?
It does depend on the person you are giving to.
Just a thankyou would be nice.
Each year we give gifts to be passed on to those less fortunate - I try for at least one gift per family member - 2 adult presents and 2 children presents at the least.

Spending time with my family and making memories that will last forever is what is most important to me! No gift could compare to that, unless of course it was made by the hands of my children!!

Giving.
When I have kids, I'm going to make sure that one thing they do every Christmas is help pick out a toy to give to a needy family.

I love giving coz getting gifts and wrapping them up with colourful gift wrappers are actually one of my favourite hobbies. I feel happy to see people receiving my gifts with excitement.

Celebrating with God and the people you love. If you're talking about gifts, buying them is fun, getting them is fun, but they always seem just a little extraneous, after you've reached sixteen or so.
