I tend to agree with him. As I recall, he goes on to explain that religious bad men are acting in contravention of everything they claim to believe.

I agree. A "bad man" would be religious only if he is up to something no good and is using religion as some sort of tool.

Another reason I agree is the hypocrisy...hypocrisy has done more to turn people away from seeking a faith than any other I know of.

I neither agree or disagree the question is a philosophical trap. Assuming there's a God than a religious bad man would be worse, however since I can't prove the existence of same than any bad man is equally bad. PEACE!

Sort of true.

Any powerful ideology can lead people to become megalomaniacal jerks who ruin millions of lives in the name of that ideology. However, it is true that most ideologies prone to that kind of thing are religious in nature, and hence the Crusades, and Hitler, and crazy cult leaders, et cetera.
