No. The fashion police might throw you in fashion prison for your mistakes (all tattoos and most piercings start to look ugly after a couple of years), and you're going to have a lovely time getting those tattoos removed when you're 35, but it's not like you did anything *morally* wrong.

I believe that if there is a God he will look at the person on the indide, not judge them on their appearance. Think how many people look perfect and have no piercings or tattoos, but also end up cruel and vile. Also, think of all the people that get plastic surgery, would God hate them too? Body mods are body mods, no matter the design.
And really, how many years could you live in the same temple without redecorating?

Hell has some very reputable tattoo parlors.
My ears be pierced, and I currently have 2 tats, three more I already have planned out, and one of those I am in the middle of drawing.

This is directed at Monica: "ALL" tattoos do not start to look ugly after a couple of years. My ex had one that was almost 25 years old, and it was absolutely gorgeous. They do FADE, but unless someone gains and/or loses a lot of weight, or the tattoos are in areas that are prone to gravity's pull (breasts, stomach, etc), they generally stay put and keep their shape.

That won't send you to hell. The prohibitions against tattoos and piercings were given in the Bible because they were used to identify people who worshiped pagan gods at that time in history.
What sends anyone to hell is the state of their heart.

well according to the christian popular belief, no u wont go to hell because of piercings and tats. They are just artwork on a vessel that holds your soul. Although u are supposed to treat it with the utmost respect, it is not going to mean u are going to hell

Well all three books of God the Bible, the Torah and the Koran all state that it is a sin to permanently mark your skin. Now are you going to Hell? That is between you and God. He makes the rules no one else. If you dont like the answer, dont ask the question........

No, not for that.
Aren't tattoos expensive? You must be rich.
Did you ever think of what those tattoos will look like when you're 80 years old? Just wondering....

No. Piercings and tattoos is not what God will judge you on for entry into his perfect kingdom. Have you paid the price for your sins? If not have you accepted the free gift God gave us in his son Jesus?

Hell is a state of mind.
And the all mighty cares nothing about material things. The body will perish so it doesn't matter anyway.
