That something had to create something that had to create this, then had to create that.

Ok, but.. why does it have to be a being that made it? a all super powerful being? that something with actual thought and imagination had to make the thing that created the thing that made that and made it in 6 days or what ever crap.

Why can't it be something a little more realistic? It is like saying a butterfinger candy bar made everything, you can have faith that it happened, but you are basically fooling yourself.

Anyways, maybe you should accept the Big bang theory, the super string theory, the 11 dimension theory... sorry christians but your days of ignorance are almost to and end, and thank god, I mean.. Thank science.

My friend and his son's mother are divorced . When his ex -- wife picks up the little boy at my friend's house, she asks him to look out the door for her . If he doesn't look out the door, she sits in her car and honks her horn . She's trying to avoid getting out of the car when the weather's cold . I say "That's why they make coats !" . The little boy doesn't think his mother should ring the doorbell in cold weather, he doesn't think looking out the window for his mother is too much too ask, and he doesn't think waiting in the car is bad manners . He says we're being unreasonable . NOW -- who's right ? IS waiting in the car bad manners ? Is there a book or a website that says it's bad manners to wait in the car in this situation ? Is there a way I can convince the little boy and his mother ?

some christians, i.e. creationists, are quick to point out what they feel is an obvious flaw in the theory of evolution. that being: if we came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys? indeed this is puzzling, if we did indeed come from monkeys, that is (which we didn't). however, as it stands, creationist logic dictates nothing can come from something that still exists, i.e. monkeys shouldn't exist because we exist. therefore, since monkeys and humans coexist, it's absurd to think that we came from monkeys. now, take the creationist claim that we came from god. well, if that's the case, by creationist logic god can't exist, since we in fact do exist. he might have existed at one time, but his existence is no more. so my question to creationists is, if we came from god, why do you believe god still exists?

For the past year I have been getting turned on by girls more than anything. I've dated a couple of guys in the last year but I would much rather be touching a girl than a guy. I also have a major crush on this woman at my tanning salon. Yet there are two guys I am torn between at the moment. Which makes me really confused. I don't think I am Bi because I don't want a threesome.

I don't fit the 'lesbian stereotype'. Although I do like some guy things like car racing, rally, I am obsessed with fashion but it's all streetwear. I never wear skirts.

In short I want to be with another girl 80% and a guy about 30%. I don't care if I'm with a guy again though... Do lesbians 100% want girls or am i Bi?

I saw it on BBC. Elders deciding to protect and deny there is any abuse to minors by JW parents.

Do you do this to protect the organization.

I still believe in the Bible and think you guys understand it the best and are the only ones preaching and spreading the good news door to door. But this is disturbing news about you organization.

What do you think?

I have been an athiest since age 10. But I have been known to pray to both the god common to Jews-Christians-Muslims as well to unknown gods. Yes, I know that some Christians may object to the god in Islam being considered in common. But, that is my view after studying the subject. As to praying to the unknown gods, if there is another, I don't want to leave out the opportunity for contact. But when I do pray, though unbelieving, my only "gimme" I pray for is basically "if you're out there, make yourself known to me and point me to the right path." I think I may actually be a pretty typical athiest. It is not that we are bad people or lack knowledge of religion, that we don't want to believe. The difference is mainly that we have rejected what we were taught and influenced by in youth. We don't believe in god or the holy books that are the basis to belief. And I can say that I would really like to believe. But, I will not lie about who I am, especially to myself.

We read in God's Holy Law Book the Bible in Zephaniah 1:14-15:
The great day of JAHWEH is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of JAHWEH: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness.

In our glorified bodies, which will be perfect, will there be cells? If yes, how do you expain a non-rational creature having an afterlife. If no, did cells just spontaneously appear after the fall of Adam and Eve (who had glorified bodies to begin with).

These people with signs reading bad things about Jehovah's Witnesses, why don't these people just go on with their lifes, they stand there all day, its pretty scary and goes to show that maybe Satan is trying everything to destroy God's organization.

Everyone else pretty much hates Jehovah's Witnesses but the people that actually go and stand outside with signs thats scary.

Im not a JW but makes you think why they are so hated, there are thousands of websites against them and people just can't stand them.

And Jehovah's witnesses are the only ones that preach door to door. Each individual JW actually participates in spreading God's word.

Every year, on halloween night, I see kids out there having fun, getting candy, dress up in cute costumes, You know what sucks, you look out the window, seeing kids having fun out there and you can't go out there yourself! Why? Because mother won't let you! Every year you cry, you can't have any fun at all, I ask mom why she won't let me go out, and get candy, and she's like "We're a Christian family, we don't celebrate it". I would tell her I'm not Christian, but she still won't let me go to parties, and dress up" Yes, It sucks. I know, I'm 17 now, and I still never went trick or treating, I would tell kids that, but everyone stares at me. They say, you suck, how could you not ever celebrate halloween, this is what being a kid is all about.!

I want to ask my mom, but I don't know how to persuade her. Am I too old for trick or treating, I don't want to miss out on all the fun. This is my last chance, to do this, to experience halloween for the first time!

How can I persuade her?

God’s Word, the Bible, discusses God’s judgment and eternal Hell from beginning to end. In fact, the Bible tells us that most people who have ever lived will be there.
The wicked shall be turned into Hell, and all the nations that forget God. (Psalm 9:17)
And Jesus went about all Galilee teaching…(Matthew 4:23)… Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Some prefer to preach the sort of " heaven and hell ' gospel inorder to present the Lord to others.

Others share from their own personal experience.

Some use the Word and just let people decide for themselves.

SO many ways. Which kind do you think turns people off and which way, in your own experience draws others to the Lord...
