Im researching him and he is a very great person if it is true. Now people think you either deny or accept him...well i haven't accepted him yet. On the other hand, I have not denied him. So let's say I die in the next hour and i die. Would Jesus say you denied me here's the gate to hell? or Come with me and i will show you the truth? Peace

Or:

1- You figure you can NEVER see/hear/touch them;
2- You normally see them ONLY in your nightmares/dreams;
3- They come to you during a drug-induced episode;
4- You believe they are ONLY the objects of psychotic hallucinations;
5- You are convinced they are haunting you no matter what you do (or NOT);
6- You are certain they do NOT exist;
7- You wish they would come out to play [more often];
8- You are interested in making strategic alliances with them, so you could rule multidimensional Universes at once;
9- You think it is a moot point/experience because you cannot really date 'em;
10- You KNOW they are REALLY scared of your HOLLOWEEN costume, and ultimately the human in YOU.

Judith 8:7. And she was exceedingly beautiful, and her husband left her great riches, and very many servants, and large possessions of herds of oxen, and flocks of sheep.

Wow. That's pretty random. I thought I'd end up with a wise one. Like:....I don't know. Shakespearean stuff.

Site A

-45 mins away
-large room that can fit up to 300--very nice decor/up-to date
-cocktail hour, open bar, 4-course sit down dinner. Dessert
-Use of bridal suite
-Linens, Flower Centerpieces and Wine at each table is included.
Cost: $70 a person

Site B

-25 mins away
-room fits 150
-cocktail hour, open bar, 2-courses sit down dinner. No Cake provided
-No bridal suite
-Silk Floral Centerpieces included.
-No modern attire (not a horrible place. But, a little early 90's New Jersey style wedding decor)
Cost: $65 a person.

Site A is very well known for it's elegant ambiance and excellent food. It's a big far, but it's a good deal with LOTs for food. I'm just worried if there is any traffic 45min could be over an hour.

Site B is OK if you get to use a large room. We have 130 guests. So, we get the smaller room. I'm worried the food will be thin-especially with only 2-courses. But, it's closer.

Thoughts.

i just think it is impossible for the human mind not to belive in an afterlife.
there is no way i can't even imagine that when i die i will have no thoughts and that will be the end of me(body,mind,soul, & heart).

So what happens when you die?

Did the people who were killed on 9/11 get a free pass to heaven since their lives were taken from them so tragically and they did not have a chance to repent of their sins? I know that a lot of the heroes of 9/11 risked their lives to save people. Did these same heroes also give up their souls for their courageous actions? If so, then perhaps the real tragedy of 9/11 is not how many lives were lost, but how many people who died then went to Hell when they may have gone to Heaven had they lived longer and had a chance to know Christ and repent. 10 points for the best response to these questions.

I wanna call them parachute pants, but I'm not quite sure. I think they were used during the 60's/70's era. They're really tight around the thigh area, but then they open up really big at the bottom. I guess they are parachute pants. I dunno. Correct me if I'm wrong will ya. I wanna use it for my costume.

How do I go about doing this? What steps must I take? Are there any specific requirements?
I am just looking for some time alone with God, and maybe some time of fasting. Not looking for much social interaction at all.

I just want to know what makes you so curtained that God is real and the Jesus Christ existed. When i was 6 or so there wasn't anyone in the world that could tell me Santa Clause was not real. I believed with all my heart he was watching my every move so i was on my best behavior, hell i even swore i seen him in the sky on Christmas eve once. But then i found out the sad truth. What makes your belief in God different then my belief in Santa Clause as a child?

If God exists than he surely has all knowledge of past, present, and future because he is not bound by time. Therefore it would seem to be impossible to tell God a joke, because he would already have known the punchline even before you started talking, no?

I am helping my father look for a new job.

My father can't retire right now but he needs a job with benefits. I have been helping him look for a job since he is scared of computers. He has construction experience but he really cant go back into that at his age. Any advice or encouragement will be greatly appreciated. I am very nervous for him because some companies wont even consider him because hes 62. I know thats illegal but obviously they will choose someone they assume is right for the job.

just transferred schools from California to NY, and stressing to move along and catch up with my classes (which I have successfully done up until today), my professor decided to yell at me. There was a paper that for the life of me I could not get to. And we are allowed to bring our laptops to class, but I suppose I shouldn't have abused that right to use it and make an outline for the other class. Thing is in this class, a film class, and I'm a literature major (although that shouldn't handicap me) I'm always lost. But I'm telling you transferring and adjusting hasn't allowed me to do much and I'm barely catching up. So while making notes during the lecture and this is a small room. The professor rises out of her chair and she literally raises her voice at me, "Are you writing notes for another class!? Or are you not paying attention to the lecture!??" And then launches herself into a 5 minute scolding as to whatnot. about paying attention. There I was ready to cry. So should i be mad

Romans 3:11: there is none that understandeth , there is none that seeketh after God.
Hosea 10 :12: Sow to yourselfs in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, TILL he come and rain righteousness upon you.

acts 17:27.. that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might FEEL after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.( this does not mean chanting on a bible) to me it means talking to him and asking for his spirit to draw to you, to know him in prayer. To feel for his spirit....not stick your eye's in a bible and read verses....

??????(can not remember verse) seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and ALL these things shall be givin to you.

what do these verses mean to you, and does this have something to do with why Jesus was crusified?

Lately, I've been kind of down and dealing with a lot of hard issues. I know this is not a good thing, but I have a tendency to cut myself off from people when I am feeling sad. Not completely like to where I won't even speak to you, but I'm probably not going to sit there and hold a conversation with you and act all bubbly and happy. Soo...in gym class, we have free days almost everyday of the week. Typically, I sit down and do homework or read. It's not like I'm sitting there staring at the ground all depressed--I'm actually doing something. Plus, not to be rude, but a lot of the girls in my gym class are wh0res.But my two gym coaches called me up the other day and asked, "Do you have brothers and sisters?" I was like, "Yeah....". And then one was like, "Well, you're a loner. That's probably why you have no friends." I was MAD! He has no right say that, does he? Is he right? Am I doing myself harm by isolating myself? Should he have said that to me?

I have tried sooooo hard to be extraverted and social but the truth is that it's absolutely miserable. Church is torture, everyone wants to talk, shake hands, hug, get to know me and I just want to run as far away as I can. I treasure my solitude, my quiet life and distance but my church has this loud band and everyone is loud and annoying and kind of dumb....I don't mean to be hatefull, I'm just trying to be as truthful as I can. They encourage these small groups that meet in peoples homes and I attempted this and I about killed me, horrible experience. What does this make me? Am I a bad Christian? I

I googled black holes because I never saw a picture of one before. So I went through 3 pages of pictures and they're all computer animated images.

So then I just went to google and typed in "you can't see black holes" and it's true! You can't!

http://spaceplace.nasa.gov/en/kids/blackhole/

"Even if a bright star is shining right next to a black hole, you cannot see the black hole."

So if you cannot see black holes, and just think they're there because there is no light in that area...how can you believe in them? Just because scientists have told you?

Isn't that the same as a religious person believing in something just because their preachers have told them?
