Romans 3:11: there is none that understandeth , there is none that seeketh after God.
Hosea 10 :12: Sow to yourselfs in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, TILL he come and rain righteousness upon you.

acts 17:27.. that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might FEEL after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.( this does not mean chanting on a bible) to me it means talking to him and asking for his spirit to draw to you, to know him in prayer. To feel for his spirit....not stick your eye's in a bible and read verses....

??????(can not remember verse) seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and ALL these things shall be givin to you.

what do these verses mean to you, and does this have something to do with why Jesus was crusified?

1) all who think seek God
2) be good
3) it is a game of hide and seek, as I suspected all along
4) a song in church that I kind of like.

Not related to the crucifixion as far as I can see, but I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Matthew 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

The words in the Bible have a power that cannot be put into words. They can confuse Bible scholars as well as be totally crystal clear to an 8 year old.

More can be said.

GOD bless

Hosea 4:6 is saying exactly what you read. In fact you missed out on the whole verse. At that time, no one had any knowledge of God and because of this, they would die if they remained in ignorance. 2 Timothy 2:15 That in as far as we can in our imperfection, we should strive at all times, to do and behave as our Creator desires us to do. Gaining knowledge means sharing that with others, so if we then use our own understanding, we are not proving to use the Word of God correct. When preaching to the house hold, it is beneficial to have a firm grasp on what they believe, so that you can find common ground. One should not be there to argue but to share what we have learnt and show them that there is a gross misunderstanding about our Creator. I do not need to study anything else that tries to explain the bible, because I have all I need to understand and gain in my appreciation that the Word of God is the only source that I need concern myself with.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

He was crucified because he dared prove he was really the Messiah. He cast out demons, raised the dead and had a great following. This will happen again and cause many Christians to be killed and persecuted. You see.........the true HATRED of Jesus really boils up when he proves himself real to someone who hates him. that's why not many miracles are happening right now.....it's not time.

It is a bit hard to comment on a verse or two when they are not looked at in the context of their book, or in relation to the NT, OT, or book as a whole.

I encourage reading some different versions, or some paraphrases, they always shed new light for me, or at least get me thinking.

When I read those verses I thought of the one that says, "Many are called but few are chosen."

You should get your hands on a concordance. They are great and you can look up paticular words.
