What is the start temperature of the water? What is the heat of the flame? What is the specific heat of the material comprising the vessel you are boiling it in?
You see, some things are a little more complicated then they might seem. If you don't ask enough questions, or don't have enough information you will generally come to inaccurate conclusions. I think this is why you like to skip all the steps between hydrogen and human.

Yes, you are missing a lot of other chemicals, Possibly comet debris, a few hundred million years.... The list goes on.
