I 'm sick of all the myth regarding religion. I am supposedly christian because I have christian parents. However, I have a very close friend who is buddhist. According to "my religion", my friend will burn in hell. I mean that's just ridiculous. The guy is more innocent than a saint. This obviously questions religion itself. I think everyone needs to drop this fascist concept known as religion. I hope you saw where I was going with this and now please answer my question.

If you're a christian, don't you think you would be buddhist if you had buddhist parents?

Doesn't it seem oxymoronic to prove religion via science and math? one is hypothetical, while the other is concrete.

Doesn't it seem like it's reaching?!

It seems like it's another man-made excuse/attempt in the name of denial to try to convince the opposite side. If one truly believes, then everything else in this world wouldn't matter. Whereas, battling sides seems childish and insecure.

If you live like this, says St. Anthany, you will be in the world but not of it and you will find peace. Father Sergei says that the saints do not see sinful asct the way sinful people do because they are not attracted to such desires.

Hi,

I am a college student who lives off campus and has a car. My roommate doesn't. I told her that I will be able to give her ride every now and then but not always. Some how she has gotten the message that I am going to give her a ride whenever she wants which is completely false. She jokingly call me her "driver" or "her driving slave." I really don't like that and it is pissing me off. Now when she owes me money for electricity and stuff... she expects me to take her to to the bank. I have a lot of stuff to do specially since I am a college student. I do not want to end our relationship but I do not want to give her the impression that she can walk all over me. Please help me. I don't like hurting people's feelings but I think i am going to have to.

We were not friends before we moved in together... we met after signing the lease and got along with each other.

I wanna know why ppl who do not smoke pot judge those who do smoke pot so harshly
i smoke and i dont care what anyone has to say about me i have a good job and im not an idiot. i just dont understand how you can talk bad about it if youve never experienced it
i know that some will say its a gateway drug but i attribute that to being a weak minded person
i dont do any hardcore drugs like bars,coke,heroin,meth
personally i think alcohol is worse then pot and alcohol is legal
the only bad thing about pot IS that its illegal and smoke hurts ur lungs
i know but so does cigs
so why plz i dont want to hear all ur offensive remarks just explain
